BLACK RIVER AND MORRISTOWN RAILROAD COMPANY.

Articles of association filed March 22, 1870. Located in St. Lawrence and Jefferson counties. From Morristown to a point on the Rome, Watertown and Ogdensburgh Railroad, near Philadelphia or Evans' Mills. Length of proposed road about thirty-seven miles. Capital stock $600,000.

BOSTON, SARATOGA AND WESTERN RAILWAY COMPANY.

Articles of association filed April 6, 1870. Located in Saratoga, Fulton, Hamilton, Warren, Herkimer, Lewis, Oneida, Jefferson and Oswego counties. From Saratoga or from a point of junction on the Adirondack railroad at or near Johnsburgh, to Sackett's Harbor and Oswego, with right to construct a branch line to Utica. the Syracuse, Binghamton and New York Railroad to Smithville Flats, Chenango county. Length of proposed road about twelve miles. Capital stock $300,000.

DUNKIRK, WARREN AND PITTSBURG RAILWAY COMPANY. Articles of agreement consolidating the Dunkirk, Warren and Pittsburg Railroad Company and the Conewango Valley Railroad Company of Pennsylvania, under the above name, filed May 14, 1870. Length of road, from Dunkirk in this State to Warren, Pennsylvania, fifty-four miles; fortytwo miles of which is in the State of New York. Capital stock $1,300,000.

Articles of association filed June 7, 1870. Located in Ontario, Seneca and Tompkins counties. From Geneva to Ithaca. Length of proposed road forty miles. Capital stock $1,200,000.

Articles of association filed April 13, 1870. Located in the city of Brooklyn and town of Flatbush, Kings county. Length of proposed road four and a half miles. Capital stock $200,000.

Articles of association filed October 18, 1869. Located in Broome and Chenango counties, from Chenango Forks to Greene. Length of proposed road about eight miles. Capital stock $200,000.

HARLEM EXTENSION RAILROAD COMPANY.

Articles of agreement, consolidating the Lebanon Springs Railroad Company of this State and the Bennington and Rutland Railroad Company of Vermont, under the above name, filed April 23, 1870. Length of road 114 miles. Capital stock $4,000,000.

HEMPSTEAD AND ROCKAWAY RAILROAD COMPANY.

Articles of association filed November 17, 1869. Located in Queens county, from the village of Hempstead to Valley Stream on the South Side Railroad. Length of proposed road five miles. Capital stock $50,000.

HUDSON VALLEY RAILROAD COMPANY.

Articles of association filed January 5, 1870. Located in Queens county, from Fresh Ponds on the South Side Railroad to the East River between Hunter's Point and Ravenswood. Length of proposed road four miles. Capital stock $40,000. JUNCTION RAILROAD COMPANY.

Articles of association filed April 20, 1870. Located in the city of Buffalo. Length of road seven miles, from the New York Central and Hudson River Railroad to the Buffalo and Niagara Falls Railroad and thence to the Niagara River. Capital stock $50,000.

MOHAWK AND ILION HORSE RAILROAD COMPANY.

Articles of association filed March 1, 1870. Located in Kings and Queens counties, from Bay Ridge to Hempstead. Length of proposed road thirty miles. Capital stock $300,000. NEW YORK, UTICA AND OGDENSBURGH RAILROAD COMPANY.

Articles of association filed June 6, 1870. Located in Sullivan, Ulster, Delaware, Lewis, Jefferson, St. Lawrence and Otsego counties. This road is intended to form the connecting links between roads already constructed, and thereby to form a continuous line from the St. Lawrence river at Ogdensburgh to New York city. Length of road proposed to be constructed 120 miles. Capital stock $12,000,000.
