Ethnic Origin

These reports present social, economic, and demographic characteristics of persons of Spanish origin in the United States, and the five Southwestern States. (Series P-20 No. 334 gives data for all states). Some reports also show information on the ethnic origin or descent of the population as well as language usage.

Characteristics of voters in the United States: age, race, income, education, and projections of voters are presented in these reports.

Note: Voting age was 21+ years in all states except Georgia and Kentucky (18+ yrs), Alaska (19+ yrs), Hawaii (20+ yrs), until 1972 when it became 18+ years for all states.
