An Act to appropriate money to pay the mileage of the members of the Legislature.

The people of the State of Wisconsin represented in Chap. 1. Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows:

SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to be paid out Mitengo of Sen of any money in the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated, on the warrant of the Chief Clerk of the Senate, the sum of three hundred and forty-six dollars and fifty cents: the amount due members of the Senate for their mileage.

There is also hereby appropriated to be paid Mileage of As. out of any money in the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated, on the warrant of the Chief Clerk of the Assembly, the sum of eleven hundred and fifty-six dollars and twenty cents, being the amount due members of the Assembly for their mileage.

An Act to authorize an election in the City of Milwaukee. for or against the adoption of

a new City Charter.

The people of the State of Wisconsin represented in Senate and Assembly do enact as follows:

SECTION 1. A special election shall be held in the several Wards of the City of Milwaukee at the usual places of holding elections by the Aldermen of each Ward, or under their direction, in the same manner, and conducted and certified in the same way, and under the same penalties as elections are by law holden in said city, for city and ward officers, on Monday, the second day of February next
