CHAPTER 3.

ER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:

C. A., 1888, c. 8.

1. Section 2 of the "Bills of Sale Act" is hereby amended by Amends sec. 2. inserting between the words "lading" and "warehouse," in sub-section

(a) of the said section, the words "any securities that may be taken

under section 74 of the Banking Act.'"

2. Section 3 of the "Bills of Sale Act" is hereby amended by striking Amends sec. 3.
out all the words after "follows," in the 16th line of said section, to and
inclusive of "therein," in the 19th line thereof, and by inserting in lieu
thereof the words "if affecting property on Vancouver Island, by filing
the same in the office of the Registrar-General of Titles at Victoria; if

affecting property on the Mainland of British Columbia, and within, the limits of any

any District for the time being established under this Aet, by filing Regaty the same in the office of the Registrar of the District in which the

property affected is situate; if affecting property elsewhere on the
Mainland of British Columbia;" and by inserting after the word
"issued," in the 34th line of said section, the words "and as against
subsequent purchasers or mortgagees in good faith for valuable con-
sideration"; and by inserting after the word "process," in the 40th line
of said section, the words "or of such purchase or mortgage."

ER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:

1. Sections 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 of the "Breeding Sections repealed. Stock Act" are hereby repealed.

2. The said Act shall not apply to Municipalities.

3. The said Act is hereby amended by striking out the words "Part Amends said Act I." between sections 4 and 5 thereof; and section 4 thereof is hereby and s. 4 thereof. amended by striking out the words "part II. of," in the second and third lines of said section.

4. The said Act is hereby amended by striking out the words "Part Amends said Act II." between sections 14 and 15; and section 20 thereof is also amended and s. 20 thereof. by striking out the words "of Part II." in the second line of said

section.

5. The said Act shall not apply to bulls running at large in that Bulls, exemption. portion of the Province north and east of the Cascade Range between

the 20th day of June and the 1st day of April.

6. This Act may be cited as the "Breeding Stock Act Amendment Short title. Act, 1892."
