ACTS OF A GENERAL NATURE.

AN ACT

Making partial Appropriations for the year 1858.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State Appropriaof Ohio, That the following sums be, and the same are hereby tions. How appropriated out of any money in the state treasury, for paid out. general revenue purposes, not otherwise appropriated, to be paid on the warrant of the auditor of state, for the year eighteen hundred and fifty-eight, to wit:

For the per diem pay of the lieutenant governor, as presi- Officers and dent of the senate, the payment of members of the general members of general assemassembly, their clerks, assistant clerks, sergeants-at-arms, bly. their assistants, and messenger boys, including deficiencies in former appropriations for the year eighteen hundred and fifty-seven, the sum of fifty thousand dollars.

For the current expenses of the Ohio penitentiary, the Penitentiary, payment of guards and repairs, the sum of fifteen thousand expenses of dollars.

For payment of stationery for use of the state, the Stationery.

sum of six thousand dollars.

For the payment of the salaries of the warden, deputy Officers of warden, clerk, physician, moral instructor and assistant Penitentiary. teacher of the Ohio penitentiary, twelve hundred dollars.

For payment of fuel for use of the state, four hundred Fuel. dollars.

For the contingent expenses of the secretary of state, three Secretary's hundred dollars.

For salary of the janitor of the state house, and contin

gent expenses, two hundred dollars.
