SERMON I.
JOSHUA XXIV. 14, 15.
Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in
truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on
the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the
Lord. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose
you this day whom ye will serve; whether the Gods which
your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood,
or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as
for me and my house, we will serve the Lord

SERMON II.
ACTS VIII. 5—8.
Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached
Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed
unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the
miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud
voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and
many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
And there was great joy in that city
