S.: RICHARD NUGENT, PUBLISHER. 1851. 1 B AN ACT TO REGULATE THE PUBLICATION OF THE REVISED STATUTES Be it enacted, &c.-1. The four commissioners who have revised and consolidated the provincial laws, shall superintend the printing and publication of the revised statutes, and the re-publication of the private and local acts. 2. The commissioners shall prepare a certificate, that such statutes and acts have been so printed and published under their superintendence, and a copy shall be printed with such statutes and acts respectively, which shall thereupon be received as authentic in all courts. 3. The commissioners are authorized to omit in the re-publication of the private and local acts, all formal enacting words not in anywise affecting the meaning thereof, such as, "Be it enacted," and words of a similar import; and all sections, or parts of sections, which have been repealed by subsequent enactment, and the acts or sections of acts so repealing the same, noting the date of such repeal.
