ARTICLES OF AGREEMENT, indented, had, made, concluded, and agreed upon, this of —, 1773, between R. K. of, &c. of the one part, and F. G. of, &c. of the other part, as follows:

HE faid F. G. for the confiderations herein after more particularly

miniftrators, covenant, promife, and agree to and with the faid R. K. his executors, administrators, and affigns, that he the faid F.G. or his affigns, his or their fervants or workmen, fhall, and will, within the space or time of calendar months, next following the day of the date of these presents, find and provide all brick, stone, iron, timber, fcaffolding, and all other materials and things, fit and neceflary to erect, build, and finish, or caufe, and procure to be erected, built, and finished, in a good, found, fubftantial, and workman-like manner, ONE brick. house or building, on a piece or parcel of wafte ground, fituate, &c. (place where building to be made) according to a plan or fection thereof. hereunto annexed, or hereunder written, and of the dimenfions and fcantlings following (here infert dimenfions and fcantlings of timber, and ether materials to be used in the faid building). AND the laid R. K. for the confiderations aforefaid, doth for himfelf, his executors, adminiftrators and affigns, covenant, promife, and agree, to and with the faid E. G. his executors and administrators, well and truly to pay, or cause to be paid unto the faid F, G, for the faid building, the full fum of

affigns, from the ground-rent thereof during the faid term; and there fhall be alfo inferted in the faid leafe an exception against damages happening by fire to the premifes during the faid term. HAT he the faid L. R. in confideration of the rent and agreements herein after-mentioned, doth agree to demife and 1 t, by a good and fufficient leafe in the law thereof, unto the said G. W. ali that field, with the appurtenances thereunto belonging, fituate near or adjoining to, &c. late in the occupation of 7. B. á gardener, together with all ways, paths, paffages, waters, watercourfes, eafements, privileges, and appurtenances whatsoever, to the fame belonging or appertaining, or therewith held, used, occupied, or enjoyed, or accepted, reputed, taken, or known to be part, parcel, or member thereof, or of any part thereof, to hold for the term of years from Chriftmas-day laft paft, at and under the yearly rent of pounds, fhillings, payable quarterly; the first payment thereof to be made at Lady-day next enfuing the date hereof. And the faid G. W. is to have full and free liberty to lop and top the trees and hedges of the faid premises ar feafonable and convenient times, and to plow up, and erect upon the fame any fhed or fheds, or other convenient buildings during the faid term, he, from time to time, fcouring and cleanfing the ditches, and repairing and making good the fences, hedges, and gates thereof.

And the faid G. W. in confideration thereof, doth agree to take the aforefaid premises for the term and at the rent payable in manner aforefaid, and to execute a counterpart of the aforefaid leafe; and alfo to fcour and cleanse the ditches, and repair, make good, and keep up the fences, hedges, and gates of the faid premifes. For a lease of an boufe.

ARTICLES OF AGREEMENT, indented, made, and agreed upon, the day of, in the year of our Lord 1773 between J. L. of the one part, and S. P. of the other part, as follows, viz.

HE faid L. in confideration of the rent, covenants, and

contained on the tenant's part to be paid and performed, doth hereby for himself, his executors, adminiftrators, and affigns, covenant, promife, and agree to and with the faid S. P. his executors, adminiftrators, and affigns, in manner following (that is to say), that he the faid 7. L. his executors, administrators, or affigns, fhall, and will, on or before Midfummer-day next enfuing, by a good and fufficient indenture of lease, grant, demife, and let, unto the said S. P. his executors, adminiftrators, and affigns, ALL that meffuage, or tenement, and yard behind the fame, and other the appurtenances thereunto belonging, fituate, lying, and being in in the parish of, now or late in the poffeffion of the faid 7. L. TO HOLD the fame from Midfummer-day aforefaid, for the term of or years, from thence next ensuing, at the option of the said parties, on his or their giving to, or leaving for each other at leaft months notice before the end of the faid years, AT and under the yearly rent or fum of

- pounds, payable quarterly; the firft payment whereof is to begin and to be made at or upon Michaelmas-day next enfuing; AND that the faid 7. L. his executors, adminiftrators, or affigns, fhall, and will, on or before Midfummer-day aforefaid, at his and their own proper cofts and charges, repair, or cause the aforefaid premises, with their appurtenances, to be put into good and fufficient tenantable repair and condition.

Item, THE faid S. P. in confideration thereof, doth hereby for himfelf, his executors, administrators, and affigns, covenant, promife, and agree, to and with the faid 7. L. his executors, adminiftrators, and affigns, that he the faid S, P. his executors, administrators, and

affigns,

affigns, fhall, and will, upon the faid premises being put into fuch repair as aforefaid, at or by the time aforefaid, take, and accept of and from the faid . L. his executors, adminiftrators, or affigns, the aforefaid indenture of leafe, grant, and demife of the faid premifes, for the term, and at the rent payable in manner aforefaid, and alfo execute a counterpart thereof unto the said J. L. his executors, adminiftrators, or affigns.

AND for the true performance of all and every the covenants and agreements aforefaid, each and either of the faid parties hereto doth bind and oblige himself, his heirs, executors, and adminiftrators, unto the other of them, his heirs, executors, and adminiftrators, in the penal fum of pounds, of lawful money of Great Britain. In witness, &c.

The above article varied, mutatis mutandis, will ferve for land, or any other thing demifable by lease.

For a leafe of a boufe for a confideration, part of which is agreed to be returned and laid out in repairs at the option of the Leffee.

ARTICLES OF AGREEMENT, indented, had, made, concluded, and agreed upon this day of Januar, in the 13th year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third, by the Grace of God of Great Britain, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and fo forth, and in the year of our Lord 1773, between J. B. of, &c. of the one part, and G. H. of, &c. of the other part.

HEREAS the above-named G. H. hath agreed to and with 7. B. for a lease of a messuage of tenement with the appurtenances, fituate in being the first houfe northward from Court, for the term of years, to commence from the Feast Day of the Annunciation of the Bleffed Virgin Mary now next enfuing, at and under the yearly rent of pounds, payable quarterly, free and clear of and from all manner of deductions and abatements for or on account of any taxes whatsoever, parliamentary, parochial, or otherwife howfoever, and to pay to the faid f. B. at the execution of the faid leafe the fum of pounds as a fine or good will for the fame. NOW THESE PRESENTS WITNESS, that the faid J. B. in confideration of the said sum of pounds to be to him paid by the faid G. H. in manner aforefaid, doth for himself, his executors, and adminiftrators, covenant, promife, and agree, to and with the faid G. H. his executors and administrators, that he the faid 7. B. his executors and administrators, fhall and will, at the request of the faid G. H. and upon payment of the faid sum of pounds, make, grant, and execute a good and fufficient leafe in the law of the aforefaid premises to the faid G. H. his executors, adminiftrators, and affigns, for the term of - years, from the Feaft-day of the Annunciation
