To difcharge a parish of a baftard child, given to the churchwar dens and overfeers of the poor.

HEREAS M. F. of, &c. in the county of D. Spinfter, before one of His Majefty's juftices of the peace for the faid county of D. hath fworn that he is great with child, and that the above named R. R. is the father of fuch child or children the now goes with: NOW the condition of this obligation is fuch, that if the above bound R. R. and the faid E. F. and G. H. or either or any of them, their or either, or any of their heirs, executors, or adminiftrators, do and fhall from time to time, and at all times hereafter, fully and clearly acquit, exonerate, and discharge, or otherwife well and fufficiently fave and keep harmless, and indemnify as well the above named W. D. and 7 S churchwardens and overfeers of the poor of the parish of E. aforefaid, and their fucceffors for the time being, and every of them, As alfo all the inhabitants and parishioners of the said parish of L. which now are, or hereafter fhall be, for the time being, church wardens and overfeers of the faid parish, and every of them, of and from all and all manner of expences, damages, cofts, and charges wharfoever, which fhall or may, in any manner, at any time hereafter arife, happen, come, grow or be impofed upon them, or either or any of them, for or by reafon or means of the faid M. F.'s being now great with child, as aforesaid, or for or by reafon or means of the birth, maintenance, education, and bringing up of fuch child or children, that the faid M. F. now goes with, and fhall be delivered of, and of and from all actions, fuits, troubles, charges, damages, and demands whatsoever, touching and concerning the fame; Then, a. or elfe, &c.

For the faithful fervice of an apprentice.

HEREAS A. B. fon of the above bound C. D. by his indenture of apprentic fhip, bearing even date with the above written obligation, nath bound himself apprentice to the above named E. F. with him to dwell and abide from

unto the end and term of seven years from thence next ensuing, and fully to be complete and ended, as by the faid indenture may more fully appear: NOW the condition of this obligation is fuch, that if the faid A. B. the apprentice, do or that at any time or times hereafter, during the faid term of feven years, imb zzle, confume, ípend or make away, or otherwise deliver or lend upon truft, without ready money, to any perfon or perions whatioever, without the confent of the faid E. F his mater, any of the goods, wares, monies or merchandizes of the faid E. F. his executors or affigns; and that if the above bounden C. D. his executors or administrators, or any of them, do and shall, within one month next after request made, and notice thereof given from time to time, during the iaid term, well and truly gay, or cause

to be paid, to the faid E. F. his executors, adminiftrators or affigns, the full fum and value of all fuch goods, wares, monies or merchandizes, as by a juft and true proof it fhall appear the laid A, B. has spent, imbezzled, wasted, consumed or lent without confent, as aforesaid, to the_prejudice of the said E. F. his executors, administrators or affigns; Then, &c. or elfe, &c.

If you would have it for the fervice of the apprentice for the whole time, as well as for his faithful fervice, fay thus:

That if the faid A. B. fhall well and truly ferve and dwell with. the faid E. F. after the manner of an apprentice, during all the faid term of feven years, according to the true intent and meaning of the faid indentures; And if, &c.

Special Conditions.

On a bond given by the executrix of a lefee of an boufe, &c. and a furety, to a person who becomes tenant at a lower rent, that they will pay the furplus or indemnify bim.

HEREAS A. A. of &c. Efquire, did by indenture of leafe dated on or ab ut

B. then of, &c. grocer (fince deceafed), a certain neffuage or tenement, warehouse, yard, garden, rooms and appurtenances thereunto belonging, then in the actual poffeffion of the faid B. B. Situate, lying and being in ftreet, in the parish of London, with their appurtenances, TO HOLD unto the faid B. B. his executors, adminiftrators and affigns, from then last past, for the term of years, at and under the yearly rent of pounds, payable quarterly as therein mentioned, as by the fame indenture of leafe may appear. AND WHEREAS the abovebounden A. B. who is widow and relict and alfo executrix of the last will and teftament of the faid B. B. and fo thereby become poffeffed of the premifes during the refidue of the faid term therein has by indenture of leafe bearing even date with the above written obligation demifed the faid meffuages or tenement and premifes with the appur tenances, unto the abovenamed C. C. TO HOLD to him his executors, administrators and affigns from the feaft of enfuing the date of the fame leafe, for the term of

WHEREAS on making the faid laft mentioned indenture of leafe, It was agreed between the faid A. B. and C. C. that the the said A. B. hould during the first — years of the faid term thereby leafed, pay or caufe to be paid unto the faid C. C. his executors, administrators or affigns, the yearly fum ofpounds, of lawful money of Great Britain, by four equal quarterly payments, on the four moft ufual feafts or days of payment of rent in every year, in order to make up the faid yearly rent of pounds thereby reserved pounds, and fo in proportion

C. his executors, adminftrators and affigns, fhould and might pay over the fame unto the faid A. A. his heirs and affigns, in full difcharge and fatisfaction of the faid yearly pounds, referved on the faid first mentioned leafe as the fame fhould from time to time grow due, or otherwife that the faid A. B fhould indemnify the faid C. C. his executors, adminiftrators and afligns therefrom. NOW the condition of this obligation is fuch, that if the faid A. B. and the above bounden B. B. or either of them, their, or either of their heirs, executors or admini¬ ftrators, do and fhall well and truly pay or caufe to be paid unto the faid C. C. his executors, adminiftrators or affigns, yearly and every year, during the first years of the faid term of

years and one quarter of a year, the yearly fum of of lawful money of Great Britain, at the four most usual feasts or days of payment of rent in every year, viz. the feast of, &c. by even and equal portions; the first payment to commence on the feast day of, &c. next enfuing the date of the above written, obligation and fo in proportion for the faid last quarter of a year of the fame term, in order and to the intent and purpofe aforefaid; or otherwife if they the faid A. B. and B. B. or either of them, their heirs, executors, or adminiftrators, do and fhall well and truly save, defend, keep harmless and indemnify the faid C. C. his executors, adminiftrators and affigns, and his their and every of their lands tenements, goods and chattels, of and from the payment of the faid yearly rent of ——— pounds per annum, referved on the faid first mentioned indenture of leafe, every or any part thereof, and of and from the payment of the faid proportionable part of the faid yearly fum pounds, for the faid last quarter of a year of the faid laft mentioned term, and of and from all, cofts, charges, damages and expences, which he, they, or any of them, fhall or may fuftain, expend, or he put unto, for or by reafon of the non-payment thereof, or any part thereof; then this prefent obligation to be void and of none effect, or elfe to remain in full force and virtue,

HEREAS a marriage is intended by the permiffion of God to be shortly had and folemnized between the above named A. A. and B. B. fpinster, daughter of the above bounden C. B. And whereas in and by a certain indenture quadrupartite of releafe and fettlement bearing even date with the above written obligation, and made or mentioned to be made between the faid A. A. of the first part, D. D. and E. E. Efqrs. of the fecond part, T. S. and G. B. Efqrs. of the third part, and the said C. B. and B. B. of the fourth part, in confideration of the faid intended marriage, and for other the confiderations in the fame indenture mentioned, he the faid C. B. DID covenant for himfelf, his heirs, executors and adminiftrators, to and with the faid A. A. his executors and administrators, that in cafe the faid intended marriage fhould take effect, the heirs, executors or adminiftrators of him the faid C. B. fhould and would within the space of fix calendar months next after his decease, well and truly pay, or cause to be paid unto the faid A, A. his executors or adminiftrators, the further fum ofpounds of lawful money of Great Britain, (over and above the fum of pounds therein before mentioned, to be paid by the faid C. B. to the faid A. A.) as an addition to, and in full of the marriage portion of the faid B. B. and in order to compleat and make up the fame the full fum of pounds, as by the faid indenture, relation being thereunto had, may among other things therein contained, more fully appear. NOW the condition of this obligation is fuch, That in cafe the faid intended marriage should take effect, then if the heirs, executors or adminiftrators of the faid C. B. fhall and do, within the pace of fix calendar months next after his deceafe, well and truly pay, or caufe to be paid unto the faid A. A. his executors or adminiftrators, the full and juft fum of-- -pounds, of lawful money of Great Britain, purfuant to and in performance of the faid recited covenant in the faid indenture of fettlement contained for that purpofe, then this prefent obligation to be void, &.

Of a bond by a grand mother of a perfon chofen clerk in the Transferoffice of the South Sea company, to one who was bound with him to the company, for is duly accounting, &c, to indemnify be furety.

HEREAS by one bond or obligation bearing even date with the above written, obligation the above named A. A. (at the fpecial inftance and requeft of the above bounden B. B. and

C. C. her grandfon, who was then chofen a clerk in the transfer office of the governor and company of merchants of Great Britain, trading to the South Seas and other parts of America, and for encouraging the fishery), is become bound (together with the faid C. C.) unto the faid governor and company in the penal fum of pounds of lawful money of Great Britain, with condition thereunder written, to the effect following: That is to say, That if the faid C. C. did and fhould, during fuch time as he should continue in the fervice of the faid company, well and faithfully execute the fame; And also did and should well and truly account for, pay, and deliver, unto the faid governor and company, and their fucceffors, or unto the court of directors of the faid company, for the time being, or to any committee or committees thereof, or to fuch perfon or perfons, as by the faid court of directors, or any committee thereof, fhould be directed or appointed to receive the fame, all such fum and fums of money, books, papers, writings, matters and things, which he then had already received, or fhould receive or be intrufted with, by, for, or on account of the faid governor and company, or their fucceffors, or any court or courts of directors of the faid company, or any committee or committees thereof, or wherewith, or for which the faid governor and company, or their fucceffors could, fhould or might be answerable or accountable, and should not do any thing wilfully or knowingly, to the prejudice and damage of the faid governor and company, or their fucceffors; but in all things behave and demean himself honeftly and faithfully towards them; then the said recited obligation to be void, or else to remain in full force and virtue, as by the faid obligation and condition thereof, relation being thereunto had, may more fully appear. NOW the condition of this obligation is fuch, That if the faid C. C. his heirs, executors and adminiftrators, and every of them, fhall, and do in all things well and truly obferve, perform, fulfil, accomplish, pay, and keep, all and fingular the articles, claufes, payments, matters and things in the faid recited condition contained, on his and their parts to be paid, done and performed, according to the purport, true intent and meaning of the faid recited condition; And alfo if the faid B. B. her heirs, executors and adminiftrators, hall, and do at all times hereafter fave, defend, and keep harmless and indemnified the said A. A. his heirs, executors and adminiftrators, and every of them, and his and their lands and tenements, goods and chattels, of from and against the said recited bond or obligation, and the condition thereof; and all and every breach, neglect or default, in not performing, or not duly performing the fame, and the feveral matters and things therein contained, or any of them; and all actions, fuits, costs, charges, damages and expences, for or by reason, or on account thereof; then this present obligation to be void, or elfe to remain in full force and virtue.
