committee shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. At the first meeting of the executive committee after the annual election, one of its members shall be selected as chairman of the executive committee. It shall be his duty to preside at meetings of the committee and, in the absence of the president, at meetings of the association, and he shall succeed to the office of president in case of a vacancy. V-MEETINGS A regular annual meeting and a mid-year meeting of the association shall be held on such dates and at such places as the executive committee may determine. VI DUES The annual dues for individual active members shall be three dollars. The annual dues for library members shall be four dollars. Sustaining members- either individuals or institutions shall pay five dollars annually. Any individual may become a life member upon the payment of one hundred dollars. This constitution may be amended at any regular meeting, notice of such amendment having been given at a previous meeting, or the proposed amendments having received the approval of the executive committee.
