A Cox Family History: From Thomas Cox, 1694-1762 of Gloucester, EnglandThomas Cox (ca.1694-1762), a Quaker, immigrated in 1714 from Gloucester County, England to Philadelphia, and settled in Chester County, Penn- sylvania. He married twice, moved several times in Pennsylvgania, and in 1741 moved to Wayne County, North Carolina. Descendants and relatives also lived in Indiana, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Texas, California, Georgia and elsewhere. |
