And be it further exacted by the authority ofor find, That it in and may be lawful to and for the faid conifory of the first reformed Proteftant Dutch Chu.ch of New Hemplead, in Orange county, and their acceffors, to call the heirs, devilees and executors of the laid Andries Onderdonk, to account for the rents and pronts of the faid land and to fettle and adjut fuch accounts, and thall apply all the monies to be received by them on fuch account to the uie aforetaid.

CHA P. XI.

An ACT for the apportionment of the Funds for foppert of the Poor in the Town of Gurman Flatts, in the Gud 31 February, 1797County of Herkerer.

Et enaded by the People of the State of New-1 ort, represented in Senate and Alfombly, That as foon as may be after the firf Tuciday in May next, the supervifors and overfeers of the poor of the towns of German Flatts, Warren, Franckfort and Litchheld in the county of Herkemer, thell by notice to be given for that purpote by the fupervisors of the faid relpective towns, meet together and divide the monies raifed for the fapport of the poor in the former town of German Flatts, previous to the division thereof, between the afore'aid towns; and thall make fuch division on principles of equity: And if the fapervilors and overfeers of the poor of the towns aforesaid cannot agree upon fich division of the montes aforefaid, then and in fuch cafe the supervitors of the county of ferkemer, fhall at their next meeting divide the monies as aforetaid, in Auch a manner as fhall appear to them juft and equitable.

CHAP. XII.

"An ACT to fufpend the powers of the Commoners for erecting a State Prifen, in the County of Albany." Paled 3d February, 1797

E it enacted by the Perple of the State of New-York, reprefented in Senate cid djembly, and it is bereby enacted by the authority of the jame, That

the powers of he commiflioners appointed by law for erecting and building a State prison in the coun y of Albany, fhall be and hereby are fufpended, unai farther leginative provision fhall be made in the premies; and that the laid commisioners fhall caufe the conveyances or the land they have purchated for the purpofe aforefaid, to be duly proved, or acknowledged and recorded in the office of the Secretary of this state, and then depent the originals in the treafury of this State Ava it all be the duty of the Surveyor General for the time being to lease out the izia land from year to year for the benefit of this. An ACT regulating the holding of Circuit Courts in this State.

And tat the circuit courts in the feveral counties of the Eattern district shall yearly commence on the days following, that is to fay: In the county of Saratoga on the third Fuelday in May; in the county of Clinton on the Brit Monday in June; in the county of Washington on the third Monday. in June, in the county of Reniiclaer on the fourth Monfies itu Eallerauf day in June, and in the city and county of Albany on the firit Monday in September in every year. lowing, that is to fay: In Kings county on the laft Tuefday in Auguft; in Queens county on the firft Tuelday in September; in Suffolk county on the second Tuesday in September; in Weltchester county on the fecond Tuesday in October; in Richmond county on the fecond Tuesday in November; and in the city and county of New-York, on the third Tuelday in November in every year. CHAP. XIV.

An ACT for altering the place of holding the Courts of Common Pleas and
General Sefions of the Peace of the County of Washington, for the Term of
February.

E it enated by the People of the State of New-York, represented in Senate
and Aembly, That it shall and may be lawful for the judges and
jultices of the court of common pleas and general feffions of the peace of

the county of Washington, to be held on the fecond Tuefday of February. next, on that day to adjourn the faid court to meet again on the fame day, or on the next day, at the dwelling houfe of Mary Dean in the town of Kingsbury, in the faid county, and not at any other place, any law to the contrary thereof notwithstanding. And that the remainder of the faid term, and all future courts to be held thereafter, for the term of February, in the faid county, fhall be held at the place laft aforefai).

And be it further enacted by the authority aforefaid, That the other terms of the faid courts refpectively, that is to fay: The terms of May and November, fhall continue to be hoiden at the town of Salem, in the county of Walhington aforefaid, at the court-houfe in the faid county.

CHAP. XV.

An ACT for keeping in repair certain private Roads in Orange Town, in the
Couny of Orange.
Paffed 10th February, 1797.

E it enacted by the People of the State of New-York, reprefented in Senate. and Affembly, That the commiffioners of the highway in Crange Town, in Orange county, for the time being, or a majority of them, are hereby authorized and required to cause the road on the South fide of the Slote creek, and the road leading from the highway by the houfe of John Sneed, on the Salt meadow in id town, and the bridges acrofs the fmall creeks, and fuch fenfes and fwinging gates thereon as they or a majority of them may deem neceffary, to be erected and kept in repair for ever hereafter at the expence of the proprietors of that part of the falt meadow which lies on the foutherly fide of the faid creek, according to the value of their refpe&tive lots or fhares therein, by a tax to be levied, affeffed, collected, and paid, in the fame manner as is directed by the act for defraying the public and neceffary charge in the refpective counties of this itate. Provided always, That the faid commiffioners fhall have their account audited and allowed by the fupervifors of the faid county at their annual meeting.

AND WHEREAS feveral of the proprietors of the faid falt meadow have voluntarily paid to the commiffioners the fum of five fhillings per acre, to purchafe a free paffage into the faid meadow: Therefore,

Be it further enabled, That the faid commiffioners who received the fame, fhall, on or before the first day of May next, deliver to the fupervilor for the time being, a lit containing the names of every perfon who hath paid the faid fow of five fhillings per acre for the purchale of a free paffage into the faid salt meadow, and for repairing the faid road. it is hereby made the duty of the fupervifor in making out the tax lifts to deduct the money fo advanced by him, her or them, out of the first tax raised by virtue of this act.
