"William

Death Records of Bucks Co., 1680 to 1870.) "The year 1710, in
Philadelphia, Willoughby Warder to Sarah Bowyer."
Warder was one of the first Councillors, Aug. 3, 1681."1
Samuel Baker bought of the London Company five hundred and
fifty-two acres of land in Makefield, Bucks County, so late as 1722.
We have no record of his death.

Sarah, fifth child of Samuel Baker and Rachel Warder his wife, was born October 9, 1712, and married Abel Janney, son of Joseph and Rebecca (Biles) Janney, at Makefield, Bucks County, August 2, 1733. They moved to Loudoun County, Virginia, and settled in 1746. They had a numerous family.

1 This Willoughby Warder is sometimes spoken of as Willoughby Warder, Jr., and was the son of Willoughby Warder, Sr., was the brother of Rachel Warder, who married Samuel Baker in 1703. I believe the above William Warder, who was a first Councillor, August 3, 1681, was the father of Willoughby Warder, Sr., and therefore the grandfather of Rachel (Warder) Baker.
