[The following list includes all the acts of incorporation, passed from the organization of the State Government to the end of the 53d session, (1830,) except those which have expired. Some of those enumerated are also supposed to have become inoperative, in consequence either of omissions to carry them into effect, or of the dissolution of the corporations created by them; these however are not very numerous, and as the Revisers have no authentic means of information within their reach, from which the cases alluded to, can be stated with accuracy, it has been deemed most expedient to comprise the titles of all acts of incorporation, except those which appear to have expired.
