Designated by Chapter 93, Laws of 1915.

DESCRIPTION OF CENTRAL TRUNK LINES FROM CLAREMONT TO WARNER, WARNER TO CONCORD, CONCORD TO EAST NORTHWOOD, EAST NORTHWOOD TO ROCHESTER AND DOVER.

Beginning at Tremont Square in Claremont; thence over the Old Road (Washington Street), 4.4 miles to the Claremont-Newport town line; thence through Newport via Elm Street, West Side Trunk Line and Sunapee Street, 8.4 miles to the Newport-Sunapee town line; thence in the town of Sunapee 3.6 miles via Sunapee Depot and Hill Road (Hardings), to the Sunapee-Newbury town line; thence in the town of Newbury via Newbury Depot and South Newbury, 7.8 miles to the Newbury-Bradford town line; thence in the town of Bradford through Bradford Village, 3.1 miles to the Bradford-Warner town line; thence in the town of Warner, 2.5 miles through Melvin and Roby to the Warner-Sutton town line; thence in the town of Sutton, 0.4 of a mile to the Sutton-Warner town line; thence in the town of Warner through Waterloo, Warner Village, across railroad at Warner Lower Village, through Bagley, Dimond and Davisville, 9.8 miles to the Warner-Hopkinton town line; thence in Hopkinton through Contoocook Village and Hopkinton Village, 7.6 miles to the Hopkinton-Concord town line; thence in Concord via Dimond Hill Road, St. Paul's School, Millville Road to Warren Street, 4.7 miles to the junction with the Merrimack Valley Trunk Line at the corner of Main

and Warren Streets; thence to the intersection of Main and Bridge Streets; thence easterly following Bridge Street and the Concord and Portsmouth Turnpike, 4.5 miles to the Concord-Pembroke town line; thence following said turnpike through the town of Pembroke, 0.6 of a mile to the Pembroke-Chichester town line; thence following said turnpike through the town of Chichester, 3.8 miles to the Chichester-Epsom town line; thence following said turnpike and the Northwood and Epsom New Road, 5.5 miles to the Epsom-Northwood town line; thence following said new road and said turnpike through Northwood, 8.4 miles as far as Church Corner at East Northwood. Beginning at Church Corner in East Northwood; thence through the town of Northwood, 1.2 miles to the Northwood-Nottingham town line; thence following said main road, 0.1 of a mile through the corner of Nottingham to the Nottingham-Barrington town line; thence following said main road through Barrington as far as Hale's Corner, a distance of 3.5 miles; thence to Rochester and Dover as follows: Following the main road to Rochester by way of Locke's Mills and the Cater Road to the BarringtonRochester town line, being a distance in Barrington of 4.4 miles; thence following said main road and main street by way of Strafford Square in the city of Rochester to a point where said main street intersects the East Side Road in the city of Rochester, being a distance of 3.8 miles in Rochester. Beginning at Hale's Corner in the town of Barrington and following the main road to Dover by way of Barrington Depot, 5.5 miles to the Barrington-Madbury town line; thence following said main road 2.1 miles through the town of Madbury to the Madbury-Dover town line; thence following said main road and Silver Street 3.4 miles to the point where Silver Street and Central Avenue intersect on the East Side Road. This route shall be known as the Central Trunk Line.
