NINETEENTH ANNUAL CONVENTION

The nineteenth Annual Convention of the Train Dispatchers' Association of America was called to order at 10 a. m. on Tuesday, June 19th, in the Sun parlor of the Niagara Hotel, Buffalo, N. Y., by I'resident F. X. Meyers of Marshall, Texas, who introduced the Rev. W. A. V. E. Pattyson, Pastor of Grace M. E. Church, who opened the proceedings with prayer as follows, the audience standing:

"With uncovered heads and bowed hearts, Oh Lord, we look up into Thy face and know that Thou wilt do all things well. We pray Thy blessing to rest upon this body gathered here in this Convention. We thank Thee because they selected this beautiful city of ours for their assembling together. We praise Thee for the moral and religious influences that prevail throughout our fair city. We thank Thee for our splendid government and that Thou hast permitted the people to choose as the executive chief of our civic government a man who today is guided by Thy spirit. Oh Lord, bless these dear friends who have left their homes and will be our guests for these few days. May their wives and friends who have come with them be the recipients of such comfortable influences as shall make their stay in our midst a time of joy. Keep the homes
