Total for 1900 also includes population (11,289) of Elliot, Esplen, Montooth, Sheraden and West Liberty boroughs and Sterrett township, annexed to Pittsburgh city between 1900 and 1910. Duquesne borough Boroughs incorporated sine 1910. Ben Avon Heights incorporated as a city since 1910. from part of Kilbuck township; Bradford Woods, from part of Marshall township; Brentwood, from part of Baldwin township; Castle Shannon, from parts of Baldwin, Bethel, and Mount Lebanon townships; Chalfant, from part of Wilkins township; Liberty, from part of Port Vue borough; North Clairton from part of Jefferson township; Overbrook, from part of Baldwin township; Rosslyn Farms, from part of Robinson township; Westwood, from part of Greentree borough.
