Chapter 119.

Resolve for an appropriation for the extirpation of Contagious Diseases among Cattle.

Resolved, That the sum of twenty-five hundred dollars is diseases among hereby appropriated to carry into effect the provisions of the law for the extirpation of contagious diseases among cattle, for the year eighteen hundred and ninety-one, and twentyfive hundred dollars for the year eighteen hundred and ninety-two, to be expended under direction of the cattle commisioners.

Chapter 120.

Resolve making an appropriation for repairs on State Arsenal at Bangor.

Resolved, That the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars be and hereby is appropriated for repairs to be made on the state arsenal at Bangor; the said sum to be expended under direction of the governor and council.

Resolved, That the state and county taxes assessed on Washington plantation, so called, in the county of Franklin, now due and unpaid, amounting to two hundred and seventyeight dollars and seventy cents, be and hereby are abated.

Resolve in favor of Steel Armored Cruiser Maine.

Resolved, That the sum of one thousand dollars be and is Cruiser, Maine, hereby appropriated for the purpose of purchasing a suitable or christening gift to be presented to the Steel Armored Cruiser, Maine. Said amount to be expended under the direction of the governor and council.

Resolve in favor of witnesses and officers in connection with the hearing on the matter of Charles S. Hamilton, before a joint convention of the Senate and House of Representatives.

Resolved, That the sum of twenty-seven hundred dollars is Witnesses, hereby appropriated for the purpose of paying witnesses and officers, connected with the hearing of Charles S. Hamilton, such fees as are allowed witnesses and officers in civil causes, in the supreme judicial court; all such fees to be audited and allowed by the governor and council, after due examination and paid from the state treasury after such allowance.
