This small volume is compiled by request of a number of subscribers to the Municipal Law Reporter, in order that they may have a handy reference to the most important legislation prior to the publishing of the Reporter-June, 1909. It is far from complete: it would take ten times the number of pages to compile all the law in the subject, but it will serve as a basis and while of especial value to subscribers of the Municipal Law Reporter, we feel it will be of great benefit to all borough officials desiring an up-to-date work. This work nor any other work can take the place of an attorney when questions of importance arise. It is intended not as a legal treatise, but a handy, up-to-date reference book for borough officials and borough attorneys.
