CHAPITRE XXI. Jésus-Christ entre dans Jérusalem, chasse les marchands du Temple, et répond aux Pharisiens.

OMME ils approchoient de Jérusalem, et qu'ils étoient déjà. à Bethphage, près du mont des Oliviers, Jésus envoya deux Disciples;

2. Leur disant: Allez à la bourgade qui est devant vous; vous y

trouverez d'abord une ânesse attachée, et son anon avec elle; detachez-les et amenez-les-moi.

3. Et si quelqu'un vous dit quel que chose, vous direz que le Seigneur en a besoin; et aussitôt il les envoiera.

6. Les Disciples s'en allèrent donc, et firent comme Jésus leur avoit ordonné.

26 For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath, shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath, shall be taken away from him.

27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

28 And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem.

AND when they drew nigh Mt. 21.

unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethpage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,

2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and shall find an ass straightway ye tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

3 And if any man say aught unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.

6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, 7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes and they set him thereon.

8 And a very great multitude

10. Et quand il fut entré dans Jérusalem, toute la ville fut émue, et on disoit Qui est celui-ci ?

10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

19 The Pharisees, therefore, said J. 12. among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

20 And there were certain Greeks among them, that came up to worship at the feast:

22. Philippe vint et le dit à André, et André et Philippe le dirent à Jésus.

23. Et Jésus leur répondit: L'heure est venue que le Fils de P'homme doit être glorifie.

24. En vérité, en vérité je vous de dis: Si le grain de froment ne meurt après qu'on l'a jeté dans la terre, il demeure seul; mais s'il purt, il porte beaucoup de fruit. 17. Et les ayant laissés, if sortit de la ville, et s'en alla à Béthanie, où il passa la nuit.

12. Le lendemain, comme ils sortoient de Béthanie,

Jésus étant entré dans le Temple, se mit à chasser ceux qui vendoient et qui achetoient dans le Temple, et il renversa les tables des changeurs, et les sièges de ceux qui vendoient des pigeons. 16. Et il ne permettoit pas que personne portat aucun vaisseau par le Temple.

17. Et il les instruisoit, en leur disant N'est-il pas écrit: Ma maison sera appelée, par tones les nations, une maison de prière;

mais vous en avez fait une verne de voleurs 2.

28. Mais que vous semble-t-il de ceci? Un homme avoit deux fils; et s'adressant au premier, il lui dit: Mon fils, va, et travaille aujourd'hui dans ma vigue.

29. Mais il répondit: Je n'y veux point aller; cependant s'étant repenti ensuite, il y alla.

30. Puis il vint à l'autre, et lui

6 οἱ δὲ λοιποί, κρατήσαλες τως δέλες αὐτά, θέρισαν και απέκε

η Ακέσας δὲ ὁ βασιλεὺς ὠργίσθη και πέμψας τὰ σφαλεύ μαλα αὐτὰ, ἀπώλεσε τους φονείς ἐκεῖνες, ἢ τὴν † πόλιν αὐτῶν † ἐνέπρησε.

8 Τότε λέγει τοῖς δήλοις αὐτῷ· Ὁ μὲν γάμο. ἑταμός ἐτιν, οἱ δὲ κεκλημένοι εκ ἦσαν άξιοι.

9 1 πορεύεσθε ᾗ ἂν ἐπὶ τὰς † διεξόδες τῶν ἐδῶν, καὶ ὅπως ἂν εύξεις, καλέσατε εἰς τοὺς γάμος.

6 At réliquiprehendentesfervos ejus, contumeliis affecerunt, & occiderunt.

7 Audiens autem rex ille, iratus eft: & mittcus exercitus fuos, perdidit honuicidas illos, & civitatem illorum incendit.

8 Tunc ait fervis fuis: Quie dem nuptiæ expedita funt: qui autem vocatrnon ferrunt digni.

9 Itergoad compia viarum, & quofcumque inveneritis, ve cale ad nuptias.

Et egrehi fervi illi in vias congregaverunt onmes ques invenerunt, malofque & bonos:

Η Εἰσελθὼν δὲ ὁ βασιλεὺς θεάσασθαι τοὺς & ακειμένες ενα δεν ἐκεῖ ἄνθρωπον ἐκ ἐνδεδεμένο» Ένδυμα γάμο.

12 Καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ· Εταίρι, πῶς εἰσῆλθες ὧδε με έχων ένδυμα γάμο; Ο δὲ ἐναμώθη.

13 Τότε εἶπε ὁ βασιλεὺς τῆς θετικότας. Δήσαντες αὐτὰ πόδας και χεῖρας, ἀγαλε αὐτὸν, καὶ ἐκβά λεῖς εἰς τὸ σκότῶν τὸ ἐξώτερον ἐκεῖ ἔσαι ὁ κλαυθμός και ο βρυγμός τῶν ἐδονίων.

14 Πολλοὶ γὰρ εἴτε κλιτες Ολίγα δε εκλεκτοί,

15. Τότε πορευθέντες οἱ κάτ Χρισαῖοι, 4 συμβούλιον ἔλαβον ὅπως αὐτὸν † παγιδεύσωσιν ἐν λόγῳ.

16 Καὶ ἀποτέλλωσιν αὐτὰ τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτῶν μετὰ τῶν πρω διατών, λέγουλες Διδάσκαλε, οι δαμεν ὅτι ἀληθῆς εἶ, καὶ τὴν ὁδὸν τὰ δεῖ ἐν ἀληθείας διδάσκεις κα ε μέλει σον περὶ ἀδενός ε γας βλέπεις εἰς πρόσωπον ανθρώπων.

17 Εἰπὲ ἐν ἡμῖν, τί σοι

κεῖ; ἔξεσι δόναι κῆνσον Καίσαρι, ἢ οὐ;

13 Tunc dixit rex miniftris : Ligantes ejus pedes & manus, tollite cum, & cupcite in tene bras exteriores: ibi erit fetis & fremitus Jentay.

14 Multi enim funt vocati, panci verò electi.

15. Tunc abeuntes Pharifæi, confilium fumpferunt ur cum illaquearent in fermone.

16 Er mittunt ei difcipulos fios cum Herodianis, diecutes de Magifter, fcimus quia verax es, & viam-Dei in veritate doces : & non eft cura tibi de aliquo non enim refpicis in facices hominum.

17 Dic ergo nobis, quid tibi videtur ? Licet dare cenfui Cafari, an non ?
