Interest ceased on outstanding bonds of 1857 and 1860, July 31, 1875. The issue of San Francisco Depot Bonds of 1893, amounting to $600,000, being in the nature of a loan to the Harbor Commissioners, is therefore not a part of the above statement. The principal, interest, and expenses of this bond issue are payable out of a sinking fund, receiving its revenue from moneys collected by the San Francisco Harbor Commissioners, paid into the State Treasury monthly. An account of the transactions relating to this bond issue will be found elsewhere in this report.
