By order of the Board, an order was drawn on Jno. M. Nesbitt, Esq'r, Treas'r, in favor of John Coburn, for £250, towards sinking peers, &ca., to be charged with his account.

By order of the Board, Jno. M. Nesbitt, Esq'r, Treas'r, was directed to pay Capt. Wm. Scott, for arms Purchased for £53 0 0, to be Charged to Col. Tho's Hockley's acco't.

By order of the Board, Jno. M. Nesbitt, Esq'r Treas'r, was directed to pay to Tho's Davis, Two Hundred & fifty pounds towards Peers built for the service of this State, to be charged to his Account.

By order of the Board, Jno. M. Nessbitt, Esq'r, Treas'r, was directed to pay Capt. Thomas Fisher, £460, for Arms Purchased, and to be charged to Col. Rich'd McAllister of York County, and £33 10 0, for Mileage, to be Charged to Congress.

By order of the Board, Jno. M. Nesbitt, Esq'r, Treas'r, was directed to pay Schetchly Morton £8 7 84, for Provisions supplyed the Guard Boats, stationed at Darby Creek.

By order of the Board, Mr. Rob't Towers, Commissary of Stores, was directed to deliver Col. Bartram Galbreath Twenty Stand of Arms for the use of his Battalion.

The muster master was directed to pass Capt. Jacob Lack, Company of Col. Lewis' Battalion, with the Present number of Officers & men.

By order of the Board, Jno. M. Nesbitt, Esq'r, Treas'r, was directed to pay Mr. Nicholas Hicks, Five Hundred Pounds, to be charged to his acco't.

By order of the Board, Mr. Rob't Towers was directed to deliver Lieut. Wm. Rowan of Col. Francis Holton Battalion of York County, 24 Stand of Arms, taking his receipt.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Mathew Delaney, order in fav'r of Peter Delany for £14, being for 4 months Service as Express Rider to the 14th July last.

By order of the Board, Jno. M. Nesbitt, Esq'r Treas'r, was directed to Change such Maryland money as may be offered to him by any of the Troops now on their march to the Camp, and if any loss happen thereon the Board will bear it.

By order of the Board, Rob't Towers was directed to Deliver Capt. Ross of Col. Porter's Battalion of Lancaster County, eight stand of Arms, taking his receipt.

By order of the Board, Juo. Maxwell Nesbitt, Esq'r Treasurer, was directed to pay to Robert Towers, £97 19 7 for his acco'ts to 10th August; also to pay Jacob Hiltzheimer £1 10 0, for carrying 60 Stand of Arms to Chester.

By order of the Board, John M. Nesbitt, Esq'r, Treasurer, was directed to pay an order drawn by the Hon'ble Convention, and signed by Benja. Franklin, Esq'r, President, for Ten Thousand Pounds, on account of the Public Service of this State.

By order of the Board, Robert Towers was directed to deliver Mr. Nicholas Hicks, 25 wheel Barrows, 4 Pick axes & 2 wood axes, for the Service of carrying on Fortification at Billingsport.

By order of the Board, Jno. Maxwell Nesbitt, Esq'r, was directed to pay Major John Andrews of Col. McAllister's Battalion of York County, £6, for milage for 12 men 120 miles, to be Charged to Congress.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Daniel Daney £4 150 for a Riffle, to be charged to Col. Timothy Matlack.

By order of the Board, Jno. M. Nesbitt, Esq'r, Treasurer, was directed to pay to Capt. Jos. Blewer £81 1 6, for 18 Muskets bought by him by the direction of this Board.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay to Capt. John Paxton £5 0 0, & Nathaniel Coulter £6 0 0, for two Riffles for Col. Miles's Battalion.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Jean Leaugeay £5 15 2, & Major James Cunningham £10 15 0, for Shot Pouches for a Company of the Flying Camp.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Col. Thos. Hockley £43 5 0, for arms Purchased, to be charged to Col. Hockley.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Capt. Peck £7 3 6, £4 10 to be charged to Congress, & £2 3 6 to be

Charged to this State, & to pay Townsend & John White £123 15 4 for 1060tb of Copper.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Ebenezer Lundy £135 15 0, to be Charged to Committee of Inspection & Observation of Bucks County.

By order of the Board, Mr. Rob't Towers was directed to deliver Lieut. Col. Holton, of 4th Battalion of York County, 20 Muskets, for the use of s'd Battalion,

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay the following acco'ts, vizt:

By order of the Board, Mr. Rob't Towers was directed to deliver Messrs. Bromall and Grigson 501b of Brass, upon their producing a Certificate from J. M. Nesbitt, Treas'r, of their having paid the prime Cost of the same.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay to Capt. Jno McElhallon £52 12 3, for dieting men on their March to this City, on their way to Camp in New Jersey, to be charged to Congress.

By order of the Board, Jno. M. Nesbitt, Esq'r, Treasurer, was directed to pay to Capt. Read £9 0 4, for repairing of Arms. By order of the Board, Jno. M. Nesbitt, Esq'r, Treasurer, was directed to pay James Dunken 20s 10, for diet of 2 men on their march to the City, to be Charged to Congress.

By order of the Board, Jno. M. Nesbitt, Esq'r, Treas'r, was directed to pay Alexander Rutherford £82 5 0, for Cartouch Boxes and Bayonet Belts, £68 5 0, to be charged to Col. James Crawford, of Lancaster County, & £14 0 0 to be Charged to Col. Richard Thomas, of Chester County.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay to Capt. Jos. Blewer £8 0 0, for a Musket, Lock, &ca.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Col. Bartram Galbreath £83 12 6, for Drums, &ca.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Mr. Jos. Mather One Hundred & Fifty Pounds, for the purpose of supplying the Militia with Camp Kettles, &ca., to be Charged to the Committee of Inspection of Philad'a.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay to Patrick Ryan £1 10 0, for a Musket, to charged to Col. Jona. Paschall, of Philad'a County, & £2 10 0 for a Gun, to Hugh Jones, to be Charged to Col. Jona. Paschall.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Barbara Keates £9 5 0, for a Riffle & a Gun, to be Charged to Col. Joseph Ferree's acco't.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay to John Davidson £75 4 6, for Cartouch Boxes, &ca, to be Charged to Col. James Moore's Battalion, of Chester County.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Arthur Miller £100, for a Gun, to be Charged to Capt. Wm. McMullen, for Col. Wm. McKean's Battalion.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Fred. Antes, Esq'r, £25 0 0, it being for an experiment made on an 18 pounder Cannon, according to an agreement with the late Committee of Safety.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to Pay Capt. Tho's Millard £79 12 0, for arms purchased, &ca, to be Charged to Col. Tho's Hockley's acc't.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Adolph Gillman £7 9 11, for meals of Militia on their march to this City.

Resolved, That the Troops under Capt Proctor's Command be augmented to two Hundred men, to be formed into two Companies, to be under the Direction of One Commanding Officer with the rank of Major, and each Company to have one Captain Lieutenant and three Lieutenants.

Resolved, That the said Troops be Commanded by Thomas Proctor, Esq'r, with the rank, pay, and allowance of Major, and to be recruited by him for the same time, and on the same terms as those already raised have been.

Capt. Welpert having waited on this Board with the Compliments of Mr. President Hancock, and to request that the Board would recommend some other Gentleman as first Lieutenant of the fifth Company of the German Battalion, to be raised in this State for the Continental Service, in the place of Lewis Van Linkensdorf, heretofore recommended as first Lieutenant, who has also been appointed Adjutant in the said Battalion; The Board, therefore, do recommend Mr. Bernard Hubley, jun'r, as first Lieutenant in the said Company, instead of the said Lewis Van Linkensdorf.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Rob't Porter £30 10 0, for Cartouch Boxes, &ca, for Cartouch Boxes & Bayonet Belts, to be Charged to Col. Richard Thomas.

By order of the Board, Jno. M. Nesbitt, Esq'r, Treasurer, was directed to pay to Lieut. Col. David Thomas £109 2 6, for Arms purchased for the use of His Battalion of Rifle men, of Philad'a County, to be Charged to his account.

By order of the Board, the Muster Master was directed to pass Capt. Jacob Hetherling's Company, of Col. Montgomery Battalion, of Chester County, with the present number of Officers & men.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay to Capt. Nathan Gibson £12 0 0, for shot Pouches, &c, for the use of his Company, to be Charged to Col. Jonathan Paschall of Philad'a County.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay to Capt. Robert Craig £17 2 0, for Blankets Purchased for the use of his Company, to be Charged to Col. Bartram Galbreath.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Col. Tho's Hockley £100, to be charged to his acco't.

By order of the Board, R. Towers was directed to deliver Col. Tho's Hockley seventy Tomhawks for the use of His Battalion.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Peter Dehaven & co. £509, for the use of the Gun Factory, to be Charged to their acco't.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay to Jacob S. Howell £250, towards Intrenching tools & piks, to be Charged to his account.
