cations of seasonal schedules for broadcasting 5950-
26100 kc/s. Develop U.S.procedures to effect submission.

B. Submit seasonal high frequency broadcasting schedules
for Sept.- Oct. 1960 period.

C. Submit seasonal high frequency broadcasting schedules
for subsequent periods according to Bcard schedule.

New provisions:

1) Transmitting and receiving equipment should be designed
to take into account the technical characteristics of
equipment likely to be employed in neighboring parts
of the spectrum.

2) To maximum extent possible, AM systems should use single sideband emission having characteristics in accordance with CCIR recommendations.

3) Termination date for Class B emission.

4) More stringent tolerance (frequency and spurious emissiou level) requirements affecting some present equipments as early as 1966 and same equipments es early as 1964.

An interference reporting form is provided. Exercise of goodwill and mutual assistance is essential concerning problems of harmful interference. Due consideration should be given to all factors such as adjustrent of frequencies, characteristics or transmitting and receiving antemas, tie sharing, change of channels within milti-charıml trasmissious. No important changes noted.

Where a direction-finding service is urovined in bands between 1605 am 2850 kc/s, stations should be able to take bearings on the frequency 2132 ic/s.

Now provisions:

The urgency signals may be used to precede radiotelegrams and radiotelephone calls concerning medical aivire. A world-wide standard frequency and time signal service is encouraged; IFRE, CCR and administrations shall work toward that em. Notification of a new frequency in stamlard frequency barris should not be made till coordination is completed.

Administrations shall cooperate in reducing interference in standard frequency bands in accordance with recommendations of the CCIR.
