You are hearby Required in the Name of the goverment and people of this State to warn all the free holders and Inhabitants of the Town of Derryfield to meet at the meetinghouse in Said Derryfield on thursday the 26th Day of April at at four of the Clock in the afternoon to act on the following articals (viz)

firstly to Choose a moderator to Regulate Said meeting

Secondly to Choose a man to Send as a Dillegate to a Convention that is to Seet at Concord in this State on the first tuesday of June Next in order to form aplan of govemunt for this State

therdly to See what method the Town will take for the Support of Elezabeth massey the present year

forthly to See if the town will Choes a Committy to be on on oath to to See if the Elewives may have a free Course up Great Cohass Brook according to an act of Cort

Hear of fail not and make Proper Return of this Warrant and your Doings unto us on or Before the Day for holding Said meeting

pursuant to the fore going warrant the town met at the time and place and proceeded as followeth (viz)

1ly voted Levt John Little moderator

2ly voted to Dismiss the Second article in the warrant 3ly voted that Capt wm perham Keep Elizebath massy this year and that he be allowed Six Dollars old way of twelve Bushils of Corn for the same

4 voted Capt Sam" Moor Charls Emerson and James pierce Be a Committy to Clear the fish way up grate Cohass Brook

you are hearby Required in the Name of the government and People of this State to warn all the freeholders and other Inhabitants of the Town of Derryfield that they Do assemble and meet at the meeting house in Said Derryfield on tuesday the 15th Day of May Instant at fore of the Clock in the after noon to act on the following articals (viz)

11y to Choose a moderator to Regulate Said meeting

2ly to Draw out of the Box one effective man Lawfully Quallifyed to as a pettit Jurior at the Inferior Court to Be holden at Amharst on the Last tuesday of this Instant may By ajournment

make Proper Return of this warrant and your Doings thereon unto myself on or before Said Day for holding Said meeting as you would avoid the penalty of the Law

you are hearby Required in the Name of the goverment and people of this State to warn all the freeholders and Inhab

itants of the town of Derryfield Quallifyed by Law to vote in townmeetings, that they assemble and meet at the meeting house in Said Derryfield on thursday the twelfth Day of July next at one of the Clock in the afternoon to act on the following articals (viz)

11y firstly to Choes a Noderator to Regulate Said meeting 2ly Secondly in as mutch as there hath Bin a verry Suden and unexpected Revelution Respecting the old Continantal money Sence the Rates ware made, and the money Raised to purchas Beaf for the army Doth not answare the Eand desined, therefore to See what vse the Town will vote to make of Said money Raised to purchas Beaf, and also to See what method the town will take to purchas Said Beaf for the army whitch is wanted Emediately

make proper Return of this warrant and your Doings unto us on or Before the Day for holding Said meeting

Pursuant to the within warrant I have Notifyed the Inhabitants of the town as is hear in Required according to custom of this town

Joseph Farmor Const

Pursuant to the fore going warrant this Town met and the meeting Being Leagelly Called and Conveand they proceed to act as followeth (viz)

1ly voted that Genrill John Stark Be moderator of this meeting

2dly voted that the three Select men Shall Devide the Town into three Classis in order to provide the Beaf for the

army and that Eatch Class Shall provide there Equill proportion of Said Beaf and Eatch parson Shall Be Equelly assed according to pole and Estate and that the Said Beaf Shall be Delivered to the Select man who is head of his Class

3ly voted that Eatch man that hath paid this Beaf tax to mr Joseph farmor Constable may have Leave to take his money Back again when Demanded

41y voted that if Aney man that hath payd his Beaf tax and Doth not Demand the Same within Seven Days from the Date hearof that the Constable Shall Be Excuseable if he Doth not Return the Same

1ly to Chooes a moderator to Regulate Said meeting

2ly to Choose two men to Serve as Grand Juriors at the Superior Court of Judicatuer to Be holden at Amharst on the Last tuesday of this Instant Sept

3ly to Draw two men to Serve as Pettit Juriors at the Court afore said

Make proper Return of this warrant and your Doings unto me on or Before the Day for holding Said meeting hear of fail not

voted Not to Send But one man as Grand Jurior

2ly voted Ensign Joseph Sanders Grand Jurior

voted not to Send But one pettit Jurior

3 Drew from the Box Levt John Perham to Serve as a pettit Jurior

1ly to Choois a moderator to Regulate Said meeting

2ly to Chooes one man of them Duly Quallifyed to Serve as a Grand Jurior at the Next Court of General Sessions of the peas to be holden at Amharst on the first Tusday of october Next

3ly to Draw one man from the Box to Serve as a pettit Jurior at the aforesaid Court

Heor of fail not and make proper Return of this Warrant and your Doings to my Self on or Before Said Day for holding Said meeting

given under my hand at Derryfield this 17th Day of September 1781
