2ly voted the Select men provide the Beaf in the Best manner they Can

3ly voted to allow Levt John perum and Capt Samuel moor Six hard Dollars pr month for the three months that they Sent a Soldier into the Service the year past or the value thereof in paper money

4ly Voted that the Town Do not purchas aney Standards this year

5ly Voted not to have aney Scooling this year

(Seal) 1781 To Levt John Hall Constable for the Town of Derryfield Greeting

You are hearby Required in the Name of the goverment and people of this State to warn all the freeholders and Inhabitants of the town of Derryfield Qualifyed By Law to vote in town meetings that they assemble and meet at the meeting house in Said Derryfield on monday the fifth Day of march next at nine o Clock in the forenoon of Said Day then and there when met to act on the following articles (viz)

To Choose a moderator to Regulate Said meeting

Secondly to Choose all the town officers for the Corrant year also to vote for a Counsalor in the Room of mr Ferrer Esq who declineth Serving

thirdly to Se if the town will vote have aney preaching this year and how maney Days Preaching they will have and what method the town will take to provide Said Preaching also how those that for us Shall be Entertained and By whome

forthly to See if the town will vote to abate oliver Emerson his Rates in the Constables Second List also to See if the town

will vote to abate Rates of aney other parson of persons that may Desier for Reasons they may give

fifthly to See if the town will vote to pay those that may Serve as Juriors this year and how mutch

Sixthly to See if the town will vote to hear the town accompts and how they will Settle the Same

Seventhly to See what the town will vote to allow the town Clerk for his Service

Eightly to See what the town will vote allow Levt John Hall for his Extreordanary Service as Constable this year

Ninthly to See what method the town will take to warn town meetings this year Ensuing

make proper Return of this warrant and your Doings unto us on or Before the Day for holding Said meeting

voted Ensign Joseph Sanders and Asael Smith Be Counters voted to ajourn the third artical to Be acted upon at the ajournment of this meeting

voted to abate the Rates of oliver Emerson in the Constables Second List

voted to ajourn this meeting two the twenty Second Day of march Instant at twelve oclock in Said Day at this place

March the 22th 1781

The town met according to the adjournment the moderator and Clerk presant and the meeting opened the town proceeded to act as followeth (viz)

voted to Releas mr abel huse from Being tythingman

voted to have Some preaching this year (viz) teen Sundays and that the Same Shall Be procuered Betwixt the first Day of April and the Last Day of october this Present year

voted that Levt John Perham Shall provide Said preatching and also that he Shall Entertain the man or men So provided to preach

voted to abate mr James pierce his Rates in Levt John Halls Second List

voted to a Bate benjamin Pilsberry his Rates for the year 1780

voted to allow two Dollars the old way for pettit Jurymen that may be obleged to tend Cort this year

voted Levt John Little and Asael Smith Be a Committy to Recon with the Select men for the Last year

voted to adjourn this meeting to thursday the 26th Day of April Next then to meet at the Place at one o Clock in the after Noon of Said Day

we the Subscribers Being Chosen a Committy to Recon with the Select men and Constable for the year 1780 we fiend thers accompts Stand in the following manner (viz)

1ly Jonathan Russ his Beaf purchas is

prime Cost of Said Beaf.

2ly to pastering Said Beaf Cattle

3ly to Cost of purching Said Beaf. 4ly to his Sarvice as a Selectman

Respecting the pastering Beaf Cattle being 294 pounds in the whole therteen pounds is Contained in the accompts following So that 294 pounds is the whole of all Charge of Said Cattle Respecting there pastering for the year 1780
