Province of New Hampshire Hillsboroughs s To Ezekil Stavens Constable for the Town of Derryfield Greeting

in his Majestyes Name you are Required to Levey and Collect of the Severall persons Named in the List hear Within Commeted unto you Each one his Respecttive preporsion therein Sat Down

The sum Total of Said List of Assessment is a tax Laid on the Male polls Estates and Incoms of the Inhabitants of the afore Said Town of Derryfield for the Suport and Maintainence of Said Province and the Remainder of Said List for Defraying the Charges of Said Town for the Present year and you are to pay to the Trasurer of Said Province for the time Being the Sum of Seven Pounds four Shillings Lawfull Money on or Before the Twenty fifth Day of December next and pay the whole of the Remainder of Said List to us or our order, and make up the Whole of Your Collecttion of the Whole Sum of Said List at or Before the first Monday of Feburary next and if aney person or persons Named in Said List Shall Neglect or Refuse to pay the sum or sums wharat he or they are therein Respecttively assessed you are to Observe and follow the Derections in the Law in Lavying and Collecting the Same, & Given under our hands and Seal at Derryfield afore Said this twenty Second Day of October Ano Que Domini 1773

in his Majestyes Name you are Required to Leviy and Collect of the Severall persons Named in the List herewith commeted to You each one His Respacttive Proporcion therein Sat Down the Sum total of Said List of assessment is a tax Laid on the mail polls Estats and Incoms of the Inhabitants of Said Town for the Suport and Mantancence of Said County and the Remainder of Said List for Defraying the Charges of Said Town for the Present year and you are to pay to the Tresurer of Said County the Sum of Nine pounds one Shilling and nine pance Lawfull money on or Before the twenty fifth Day of December next and pay the whole of the remainder of Said List to us or our order and pay the whole of your Collection of the whole Sum of Said List at or Before the

third Monday in February next. and if aney person or persons Named in Said List Shall neglect or Refuse to pay the Sum or Sums whereat he or they ar therein Respacttively assessed you are to follow the Derecttions in the Law in Leving and Collecting the Same Giving under our Hands and Seal at Derryfield afore Said this 16th Day of November 1773

You are Required in his majestyes name to Warn a Meeting of the freehoulders Inhabitants of Said town Qualifyed by Law to Vote in town meetings that they meet at their meeting house in Said Derryfield upon Monday the Sixth Day of September Next at one of the Clock in the after noon on Said Day

1-ly to Chuse a moderator to Regulate Said Meeting

2-ly to See if the Inhabitants of Said town Will Vote to Give the Rev George Gilmore a Call to the Worke of the Menestry in Said Derryfield to be their Menester

3-ly to See how much yearly Salery they Will Vote the Said Gilmore if he Except their Call.

4-ly to Se how much Setelmen Money they Will Vote the Said Gilmore if he Except their Call.

5-ly to See if they Will Vote to Sand a man or meen to treet With the Said Gilmore and agree about the Mater as the town pleceses to order, and this Shall be your Sufecant Warrent Geven under our Hands and Seal this 20th Day of August 1773

Hillsborough s s Derryfield September the 6th Day 1773

at a meeting of the freehoulders Inhabitants of Said Town Legely Called and meet in their meeting house on Said Day. Voted Capt John Starke moderator to Regulate Said Meeting

then Voted to Dismis the above warrant. but the town thought Best to Sand for the Rev George Gilmore, and it was put to vote and the Town voted to Sand for the Rev George Gilmore as sun as poseble to Com and preach with us Eighth Days upon fourder Triel.

You are Hereby Requered in his Majestyes, Name to warn a meeting of the freehoulders Inhabitants of Said Town Qualifyed to Vote in Common afairs of the Town that they meet at their meeting House upon thursday the 23th day of December next at one of the Clock in the after noon on Said Day

1-ly to Chouse a moderator to Regulate Said meeting. 2-ly to Draw one man out of the Box to Serve on the petit Jury at the next Court of General Sessions of the peace. to be holden at Amharst on the first thursday next following the first tuesday in Janewarey next.

3-ly to See if the Inhabitants of Said Town will Vote to Give the Revt George Gilmore a Call to the Work of the ministry in Said Derryfield to be their seteled minister
