(Seal) To James Gorman Constable for the Town of Derryfield Greeting

You are hereby Required in the name of the Goverment and People of Said State to Leveay and Collect of the Several Parsons Named in the List Herewith Committed unto you Each one his Respacttive Proportion therein Sat Down,

the Sum Totel of Such Lists being as by an act of the General Court of Said State, for the Use of the United States of America, and for the Use of Said State, and the Remander for the Use of this Town for the Currant year, and you are to Pay or cause to be Paid Into the Treasury of Said State, on or Before the First Day of June next the Sum of one Hundred and Twentynin Pounds Seventeen Shillings and Eleven Pance, in Currant Continental Money, and you are to Pay Into the Treasury, at the Said Tarm the Sum of one Hundred and Ninty four Pounds Sixteen Shillings and ten Pance half Peany in any Continental Bills or Bills of this State, the above sums being the one half, and the Remander of the Two first Columns,

you are to Pay to us or our Order at or before the first Monday of June next, and the Like Sums You are to Pay Into the Treasury on or Before the Last Day of December next, in Current Continental, Bills or Bills of this State Excepting the Taxes on the Non Residents Lands on which you are not to Distrain untill after the first Day of June next, and Pay the Whole of the Remainder of Said Lists to us or our order at or before the first Monday of February next, and if any Person or Persons Named in Said Lists Shall Neglact or Refuse to Pay the Sum or Sums they are Respectively Assesed You are to Obeserve and follow the Derecttions in the Law of this State, in Lavying and Collecting the Same.

We Command you in the Name and authority of the People of this State that you worn all the freeholders and other Inhabitance of Said Town Quallefyed By Law for to vote at town meetings that they meet at the meeting house in Said

town on friday the Sixteenth Day of this Instant July 1779 at twelve oclock at Noon then and there when meet

first to Chuse a moderater to Rogulate Said meeting

2ly to Chose a Town Clerk and Select man in the Room of Levt David Starritt who is Removed out of Town

3ly to See if the town will Raise aney money to precure Preaching and how mutch

we Command you in the Name and by the authority of the l'eople of this State that you warn all the freeholders and other inhabitants of Sa Town Qualified By Law for Voting in Town meetings that they assemble and meet at the meetinghouse in Said Dariyfield on thursday the nineteenth Day of this Instant august at one of the Clock in the afternoon to act on the folloing articles (viz)

1ly to Chuse a moderator to Regulate S4 meeting

2ly to See if the Town will Comply with the Plan of Goverment as it was agreed upon by the Convention whitch Set at Concord in this State on the fifth Day of June Last and to act aney thing upon this article that they Shall think Nessessary that we may be able to make Returne of our Proceedings to the Convention at there next Setting whitch will Be on the third Tuesday in September next

3dly to See what method the Town will take Respecting the money that Ebenezer Stephens hired in Behalf of the Town for Continantial Soldiers

4ly to see if the Town will abate James meneghts of his Pole tax this present year

Make proper return of this warrant and of your Doings unto us the Subscribers at or Before Said Day
