then Voted to have the one IIalf of fifty two Pounds of Powder from David Starret for a Town Stock of Powder which the Said Starret Purchished on his own Cost in Exeter at Nine shillings per pound, the 19th of May Instant,

You are Hereby Required in the Name of the Goverment and people of Sd State to warn a meeting of the freehoulders and Inhabitants of Said Derryfield that they meet at their meeting house the Second Day of July next at two of the Clock in the after noon

1-ly to Chouse a moderator to Regulate Said meeting

2-ly to Draw one man from the Box to Serve on the petit Jury at the next Inferiour Court of Common Pleas to be holden at Amhirst in and for Said County on the Seventh

Day of July Next, and this Shall be your Sufecant Warent, Geven Under my hand and Seal at Derryfield this Sixteenth Day of June Ad: 1778

You are hereby Required in the Name of the Goverment and People of this State to Warn a meeting of the freehoulders and Inhabitants of Said Town that they Assemble and meet at their Meeting House in Said Derryfield on Thursday the Second Day of July next at three a Clock in the afternoon of Said Day

1-ly to Chouse a Moderator to Goveren Said Meeting

2-ly to See if the freehoulders and Inhabitants of Said Town wen Meet will Vote to Repair their meeting hous this year and how fare they will Repair it and then to Chouse a Committee to Repair it as it May Be Voted

3-ly to See what method the Town will take to Sate Said Meeting house and vot thereon

4-ly to See if the Inhabitants Will Vote to prepare a petition to the General Court to Tax al the Land in Said Town Improved and Onimproved at a Reisenable tax for the Tarm of five years. the Money So Raised to be applied to Repair and finish off the afor Said Meeting House and to help Us to Suport the Gospal in Said Town Duering five years as above

5-ly to Geve Som Instructtions to Livtn David Starret With Respact to Elisabeth Masseys Estate as may Be thought Best and Vote thereon.

6-ly to See what the Town will Advice and Dow With Barber Lessly and femely and Vote ther on

7-ly to See if the Town will Revive the Ealwive act and make Such ammondment as hall be thought Best and Vot thereon

8-ly to hear the Grevences of Mr Benjamin Crombie for his Service Last Year as a Select Man as also to hear Said Crombies accompt for providing priching and Vot there on, and this Shall be your Sufacant Warrent

Voted on the Eight Dito alow m Benjamin Crombie Seven Dollers for his Exstrordenery Charg for the year 1777 as Select Man and for Providen Priching
