then Laid out a Town High way of three Rods wide Runing as folloth Begining at Captn alixander Mc Murphys New mills and so northerly to the Sandey Beach and so Runing Northerly the Nerest and Best way to a pine tree marked A: N: and from thence runing over the ford way to Alexander McClintok fence then Begining at the afore Said tree marked A: N: then Runing westerly the Nearst and best way untill it Com to a high way Leading from the meeting house to Alexander Mc Clintoks & for Satisfaction to make Good the Damage Don to the owners of the Said Land through whome Said high way is Laid

You are Here by Required In his Majestyes Name to warn all the freeholders and inhabitantes of the town of Derryfield that they meet at the meetinghouse in Said Town upon the first monday In march next at teen of the Clock before noon then and there to act on the following arttikles (viz)

1ly to Chuse a Moderator to Regulate Said meeting 2ly to Chuse all there Town Oficers for the presant year 3ly to See if the Town will Reas aney money to provid Preaching and if aney how much for the presant year

4ly to See How much money the town will Reas for for Defraying the Nessessary Charges of the presant year

5ly to See if the Town will do aney thing to wards Repairing the meetinghouse and what

6ly to hear the Report of the Committees and to approve or Disaprove of it or aney parte thereof

7ly if aney Person or Persons have any accounts agenst the Town to bring them in that the town may approve or Disaprove of the Same or any part thereof

8ly to hear the accounts of the town for the year A: D: 1767 and to approve or Disaprove of the Same

and this Shall be your Sufficent warent

Voted that the aboue Named Constable is found to be Clear of the List commited to him by the Committee Namely Corn John Goffe & William Mc Clintok Committee men Exsepting £0:11:10:1 Lawful money to balence his List which Sum the afore Said Constable is Stil in Debeted for to the Town

Voted that the warnings for Town meetings for the Curent year shall be Lawful by posten the Copeys of the warent in three Disstint places In Said town (viz) Corn John Goffe thomas Russ and Levtn John Halls

Wheras more then ten of the Inhabitants of Said Town Have Supplicated and Desiered us the Select men of Derryfield to Call a meeting of the Inhabitants and inceirt the following articles in the warrant for Calling Said meeting (viz)

1ly to See if the Town will Chuse a Committee and invest them with power to Settel with the Committee that was Chosen by A vote of the Town in December the 13th Day A: D: 1759: to borrow A Sum of money Consisting of four Hundred and Twenty Three pounds six Shilings old tennor and to Sue for the Same if Refused and make a full and Compleet Settelment of the same and make Report to the Town as Soon as may be

2ly, to See what meathod the town will take to Recover all the money that is Due from former Select men and Constables or wherever their Shall appear any mony to be Due to the Town

3.ly, to here the accounts Read of any that have any Just Demands of the Town and to allow or Disalow of them and
