An ACT authorizing the judges of the supreme court to establish return days.

SECT. I. BE it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in

SECT. I. WHEREAS the legislature of Pennsylvania at their last session, made so explicit an avowal of their sentiments respecting the foreign relations of the United States; gave so firm a pledge of support to the general government, that uncommon events alone could have rendered correspondent declarations by their successors, useful or necessary, but the conduct of Great Britain and the insolence of her minister plenipotentiary, has produced a crisis that has excited public feeling and anxiety, to such an unexampled height, that the general assembly of this commonwealth cannot hesitate to renew the solemn expression of devotion to their country, and of resentment against the governments, under whose order the rights, dignity, and honor of the United States, have been violated and insulted: Therefore,
