CHAPTER LXXXIV.

An ACT authorizing John Baird, Hugh Baird, and Samuel Adams, executors of the last will ana testament of John Baird, deceased, to make a title for a certain tract of land, therein mentioned.

WHEREAS, it appears that John Baird, late of Beaver coun

ty, deceased, did in his life-time, sell to a certain James Mc Kee for the consideration of four hundred and fifty dollars, four hundred and ten dollars of which, was paid to said John Baird, a certain tract of donation land, in district number one, containing two hundred acres, it being lot number sixty-eight; but as there was no written agreement between the parties, consequently the existing laws on the subject gives no authority to the court, to complete the title to the land aforesaid: Therefore,

SECTION I. BE it enacted by the Senate and House of Represen tatives of the Commonwealth of Pennyslvania, in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the executors aforesaid, be, and they are hereby empowered so Executors of John Baird soon as the said James Mc Kee shall fully comply with the verempowered bal agreement aforesaid, to make and execute to the said James to execute a Mc Kee, a deed of conveyance for all the right, title, estate and deed of con interest, that the said John Baird had in his lifetime, to the tract of land aforesaid, which deed shall vest the title in the said Mc.Kee, as fully as if the said John Baird had conveyed the same in his lifetime to the said James Mc.Kee.

An ACT authorizing William Liggins to receive a patent for a donation tract of land in trust for Mary bis wife.

YHEREAS it has been made appear to the legislature, that

Thomas Davis enlisted as a soldier in Colonel Moses Hazen's regiment, early in the revolutionary war: That he died of the wounds he received by the bursting of a shell at the siege of Yorktown, and that he left a widow who has since intermarried with William Liggins, now with his wife resident in the State of Ohio, who has petitioned the legislature to be allowed to receive a patent for a donation tract of land, to which his wife is in equity entitled: Therefore,

CHAPTER LXXXVI.

An ACT to regulate the Fisheries in the River Delaware, and før other purposes.

SECT. I. STATE OF NEW-JERSEY.

An ACT supplementary to the act, entitled "An act to regulate the fisheries in the river Delaware, and for other purposes," passed November 26th, 1808.

1. Be it enacted by the Council and General Assembly of this state, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That it shall be lawful to make use of shad seines, or shad nets, for the purpose of catching fish in the river Delaware, within the limits of this state, between the foot of the falls of Trenton, and opposite the mouth of the river Lehigh, until the fifteenth day of June, and between the mouth of the river Lehigh, and the Station Point, or north west corner of this state, until the twentieth day of June in each and every year, subject in all cases, to the same regulations, fines and penalties, pointed out in the act to which this is a supplement.

2. And be it enacted, That his excellency the governor of

this state, is hereby directed to transmit an attested copy of this act to the Legislature of the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and so soon as they shall comply with the provisions herein contained, then this shall be, and is hereby ratified and confirmed.

3. And be it enacted, That all such part or parts of the second section of the act to which this is a supplement, as comes within the purview of this act, be, and the same is hereby repealed.

An ACT for the relief of Martin Hyleman. WHEREAS it appears to the legislature, that Martin Hyleman was enlisted in Captain M'Kissik's Company, Colonel Baxter's regiment of the flying camp, and was taken prisoner at Fort Washington; after his release, he again engaged in the

army, in Colonel Lacy's regiment; received two wounds; one in his head, and the other in his hand, from a horseman's sword; and in consequence of his wounds, fatigues, and the hardships he underwent whilst a prisoner, together with the infirmities of old age, renders him entirely incapable of procuring a livelihood by. labour: Therefore,

SECT. I. CHAPTER LXXXIX.

An ACT to provide for the payment of ammunition, for the regiment of artillery in the city and county of Philadelphia, and other artil lery corps of this commonwealth.

SECT. I. BE it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa tives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the state treasurer shall, and he is hereby directed to pay to Frederick Erringer, Samuel Richards and William Weir or their order, one hundred and one dollars and ten cents, out of any unappropriated monies in the treasury.
