Buku ini merupakan panduan komprehensif dan praktis untuk memahami serta mengaplikasikan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) menggunakan software SmartPLS, yang sangat relevan bagi mahasiswa, dosen, peneliti, dan praktisi dalam bidang sosial, manajemen, dan bisnis. Melalui pendekatan yang sistematis dan bahasa yang mudah dipahami, buku ini menyatukan teori dan praktik, dilengkapi dengan ilustrasi visual, studi kasus nyata, serta panduan pelaporan hasil penelitian sesuai standar akademik.

1. Pemahaman dasar SEM dan perbedaan antara CB-SEM dan PLS-SEM.

2. Penentuan dan evaluasi model reflektif dan formatif.

3. Penyusunan model pengukuran dan struktural menggunakan SmartPLS 4.

4. Proses pengolahan data yang bersih, penarikan model, hingga interpretasi hasil analisis outer dan inner model.

5. Teknik lanjutan seperti analisis mediasi, moderasi, dan Importance-Performance Map Analysis (IPMA).

Salah satu nilai tambah buku ini adalah pembahasan tentang Multi-Group Analysis (MGA), yaitu teknik untuk membandingkan model struktural antarkelompok (misalnya: jenis kelamin, latar belakang pendidikan, atau kelompok usia). Bab khusus ini mengajarkan pembaca cara melakukan uji perbedaan antarkelompok menggunakan pendekatan PLS-MGA, serta bagaimana menginterpretasikan hasil secara statistik dan substantif. Dengan kelengkapan isi dan pendekatan berbasis praktik, buku ini diharapkan menjadi pegangan utama dalam memahami dan menjalankan analisis PLS-SEM secara profesional, sekaligus membantu meningkatkan kualitas karya ilmiah di bidang akademik maupun industri.

Dr. Juniarty, S.Sos., M.M. was born in Jakarta, and currently resides in Tomang, West Jakarta, DKI Jakarta. Her higher education journey began with an associate degree (D3) in Secretarial and Management Studies from the Indonesian Academy of Secretarial and Management, graduating in 1999. She then earned her bachelor’s degree (S1) from the College of Administration and Secretarial Studies in 2006. Pursuing further academic excellence, she completed her master’s degree in Marketing Management at Tarumanagara University (UNTAR) in 2016. In 2023, she was awarded a doctoral degree from Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH), specializing in Research in Marketing Management, with a dissertation focused on Experiential Marketing. Before embarking on her academic career, Dr. Juniarty gained valuable experience working with the international Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), World Vision Indonesia, now known as Wahana Visi Indonesia, from 2000 to 2006, where she served in the Peace Building Department. Her cross-cultural competencies were further enriched by her international experience living in Vientiane, Laos, from 2009 to 2014, where she actively participated in the Women International Group. Currently, Dr. Juniarty is a faculty member at Universitas Pelita Harapan’s Faculty of Economics and Business, teaching courses such as Marketing Management, Product and Brand Strategy, Global Marketing, International Business, and Consumer Behavior. Additionally, she holds the position of Head of the Area of Excellence (AOE) in International Business, contributing to the university’s strategic academic initiatives. Dr. Cynthia Anna Wijayanti, S.E., M.Mktg. is an accomplished academic and business professional with extensive experience in both education and industry. She is currently a full-time lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Pelita Harapan, where she teaches subjects such as Global Marketing, International Business, and Strategic Management. She holds a Master of Marketing from Monash University, Australia, and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Strategic Management at Trisakti University. Dr. Cynthia Anna Wijayanti has a diverse professional background, having worked with international organizations like KOTRA and PT SMART Tbk. Her expertise includes international business development, market analysis, and strategic marketing. She has successfully led various business initiatives, focusing on market entry, partner relationship management, and product sales across global markets. Her research contributions span consumer behavior, marketing strategies, and international business dynamics, with numerous publications in reputable journals. Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Cynthia Anna Wijayanti is also an active member of the Sekar Tanjung Dance Company, showcasing her dedication to Indonesian culture through traditional Javanese dance. With a solid foundation in both academic and practical business knowledge, Dr. Cynthia Anna Wijayanti continues to contribute significantly to the fields of entrepreneurship, marketing, and international business.
