» The Devils believe that there is a God, and fremble, and they know Jesus, who he is, the Holy One of God, the Son of the Most High. Disobedience; and the Working of Satan is with all Power and Signs, and lying Wonders, and with all Deceivableness of Unrighteoufness, in them that perish.
d The Devil was a Murderer from the Beginning, and abode not in the Truth, because there is no Truth in him. When he speaketh a Lie, he speaketh of his own; for he is a Liar, and the Father of it.
• The Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a Man which fowed good Seed in his Field; but while Men slept, his Enemies came and lowed Tares among the Wheat. He that soweth the good Seed is the Son of Man ; the Field is the World; the good Seed are the Children of the Kingdom; but the Tares are the Children of the Wicked One; and the Enemy that foweth them is the Devil.

” Sonre hear the Word of God, but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately and taketh away the Word out of their Hearts, left they should believe and be saved.
Sometimes when the unclean Spirit is gone out of a Man, he returneth again, and taketh with him feven other Spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there; and the last State of that Man is worse than the first.
* Wherefore take unto you the whole Armout of God, that ye may be able to stand against the Wiles of the Devil. For we wrestle not against Flesh and Blood; but against Principalities, against Powers, against the Rulers of the Dark ness of this World, against spiritual Wickednefs in high Places.
* Be sober, be vigilant ; left by any means, as the Serpent beguiled Eve through his Subtily, the Tempter horld tenipt you also, and fo your Minds thould be corrupted from the Simplicity that is in Christ.
• For Satan himself is transformed into an Angel of Light; and therefore it is no great Thing if his Ministers also, viz. false Apostles and deceitful Workers, be transformed as the Ministers of Righteousness.
p Behold Satan hath desired to have us, that he may sift us as Wheat. Let us therefore watch and pray, that we enter not into Temptation ; left Satan should get an Advantage of us and hinder us, in running ihe Race that is set before us. k Luke 8, 12, 11.

9 If we do not give Place to the Devil, but refift him, stedfast in the Faith, he will flee from us. But it is difficult for them to recover themselves out of the Snare of the Devil, who are taken captive by him at his Will.

Concerning the DUTY of MAN to GOD.
LL the Ends of the World shall remember
and turn unto the Lord: All Dominions shall serve and obey him.
b All Nations whom thou hast made, shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and Thall glorify thy Name.
" As I live, faith the Lord, every Knee shall bow to me, and every Tongue shall confess to God.
None of us liveth to himself, and no Man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: Whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. And we are not our own; for we are bought with a Price. Let us there fore glorify God in our Body, and in our Spirit, which are God's.
e Let us have Grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably; serving him with our Spirit in the Gospel of his Son.
