HISTORY OF ORGANIZATION, CONSTRUCTION, LEASING AND CONSOLIDATION OF LINES NOW OPERATED BY YOU, AND STATUTES AUTHORIZING THE SAME.

Date of incorporation, Jan. 21, 1878.

None.

The road was constructed and turned over to this company complete, in consideration of $20,000 in first mortgage 6 per cent bonds per mile of road, and the entire capital stock of the company. A traffic contract was made with the Northern Pacific Railroad Company whereby that company guarantees that the earnings of this company shall not be less than the interest and sinking fund charges on said bonds, in consideration of which the entire stock of this company is to become the absolute property of the Northern Pacific Railroad Company when all the bonds of this company shall have been paid and retired, or their payment provided for.
