Prefuming that the zeal of the Houfe for public jufiice, is perfectly confiitent with a difpofition, to afford me every pro per means of preparation for defence. My anxiety to meet this accufation as early and fully as poflible, induces me to requeit that the clerk of the Houfe be directed to fumiih me with a co py of the petitions, with the names annexed and of the afida vits or other evidence, on which this refolution is founded and a copy of the article or articles of impeachment and a lift of the witnefl'es by which it is intended to fupport the impeach ment.
