S) Hillsborough ss To Jessee Baker Constable in Manchester Greeting In the name of the state of Newhampshire you are hereby required to warn all the legal voters in the town of Manchester to meet at the meeting house in said town on Tuesday the fourteenth day of March next at ten O'Clock A. M. to act in the following articles Viz 1st To Choose a Moderator to govern said meeting. 2nd To Choose a Clerk for the ensuing year 3rd To Choose Selectmen for do do 4th To Choose State and County officers 5th To Choose a Representative to represent the town in Legislature the ensuing year 6th To Choose all town officers necessary for this year yth To hear the report of the committee on selectmen accounts 8th To hear all other town accounts 9th To see how much money the town will raise to pay town charges 10th To see how much money the town will raise to repair higways the ensuing year 11th To see of the town will vote to disannex James McQuesten from School district No 2 and Amos Weston jur from district N° 3 and annex them to district No 4 12th To see if the town will vote to disannex John Stark jur and John Stark 4th from highway district No 2 and annex them to district No 1 13th To see if the town will Vote to commence an action against Jonas Harvey for neglecting to take and support the Arwen family agreeable to contract 14th To see if the town will choose one or more agents to enquire into the situation of the nonresident Land in town 15th To see if the town will vote to divide the 5th Highway district Make due return of this Warrant with your doing thereon Given under our hands and seal at Manchester aforesaid this Nineteenth day of February 1820 Ephraim Stevens jur Selectmen On the foregoing Warrant was endorsed as follows. Stark town Clk MARCH MEETING At an annual meeting of the inhabitants of the town of Manchester held at the meetinghouse this 14th day of March 1820 in pursuance of the foregoing Warrant Nathaniel Moor was chosen Moderator Frederick. G. Stark was chosen Town Clerk and sworn Motion was made to pospone the Choice of Select men untill after balloting for state and county officers town accounts and Voted accordingly ballot for state and County officers Votes for Governor and reading proceeded to Samuel Bell had 88 which was all which was all the votes that were cast for Treasurer and Register. Isaac Huse was chosen to represent this town in the Legislature the ensuing year Voted That all accounts against the Town be read, and submitted to the Committee who were appointed on accounts at the last march meeting and that the Committee report to the selectmen Chose Joseph Moor - Ephraim Stevens jur and Amos Weston jur Selectmen who were all sworn into office ers Chose Gilbert Greely Constable who was sworn Chose Nathaniel Moor Treasurer who was sworn Voted That the Selectmen be Fire Wards and fence view Voted To divide the 5th Highway district at the beach of the Pond on the line between Jonson and Websters land, and form a new district, from said place of division to John Fryes which district shall be called No. 10 Voted Samuel P.
