State of New Hampshire To James Nutt Collector of Taxes in the Town of Manchester for the year 1818, Greeting Hillsborough, ss. You are hereby required in the name of the State of New Hampshire to Levie and collect of the Several persons named in this Tax bill; the Several Sums affixed to each of their mames; and to pay to the Treasurer of the State of New Hampshire, the sum of Seventy two-dollars & ninety Cents on or before the firstt Day of December next; also to pay to the treasurer of the County of Hillsboroug, the Sum of Thirty four Dollars & Twenty Cents on or before the first day of September Next and also to pay to us the Subscribers Selectmen of the Town of Manchester, the Sum of three Hundred dollars, on or before the tenth day of August next-and also to pay to the Treasurer of the Said Town of Manchester the Sum of two Hundred dollars on or before the first day of oct next; and also to pay to Said Treasurer of Manchester the Sum of two hundred & ten dollars & nine Cents, on or before the first day of March insuing-and if any person Shal refuse or neglect to pay, you are to follow the rules and regulations of the Law in levying and collecting the Same; and this Shall be your Sufficint warrant-Given under our hands & Seal at Manchester this 18th day of May AD. 1818 Isaac Huse John Dickey Nath 1 Moor Select Men of Manchester The Inhabitants of the Town of Manchester are hereby Notified, that a meeting will be Holden at the Meeting House on the 9th day of September at four oclock P. M. for the Purpose of appointing one grand juror & two petit juror Men, to Serve at the Superior Court of Judicature to be Holden at Amherst on the first Tuesday of october next., at which time and place the Select men are requested to attend to Regulate the Boxes By order of F. W. of Chester and S. E. of Manchester & the Northwardly bounds of Londonderry thence North 21° W. to the highway a large Stone near Varnums mark". L; Thence to the pond, thene we began again at the North Side of the Bay a large yellow oak; thence the Same course to Londonderry turn pike Stone Marked C. M. thence on the Same cours by Sundry marked trees to the north E. corner of Manchester, a heap of Stones with trees Marked around them thence N. 68° west by Sundry marked trees to the S. W. corner of Chester, heap of Stones M/B with trees Marked around them it being a little Southwest of Rays pond or meddow; thence N 2 degree w by Sundry Marked trees which we have renewed one Stroke, to the highway between the kimbals to Stone markd L thence on the Same course by the bounds of No 106 to Merrimac river, a stake & Stones october 20th 1818 J.
