1821 September 1st 1821 - Agreeably to a notification, previously posted the inhabitants of the town of Manchester met this day at their meeting house for the purpose of appointing Jurors to attend at the superior Court to be holden at Amherst on the first Tuesday of October next and chose Nathaniel Moor Moderator of the meeting proceeded and drew from the Box Job Rowell to serve as grand Juror at said Court and in like manner drew Frederick. G. Stark to serve as petit Juror on the first week of said Court and Nathaniel Moor to serve as petit juror on the second week. A true record Attest Frederick. G. You are hereby required in the name of said State to notify and warn a meeting of the inhabitants of the town of Manchester qualified to vote in the Choice of Senators for the State Legislature, to be held on Tuesday the twelfth day of March next at ten OClock A. M. to act on the following articles Viz. 1st To Chose a Moderator to regulate said Meeting 2nd To Chose a Town Clerk 3rd To Chose the Selectmen 4th To Vote by ballot for Governor, Counsellor, Senator, County Treasurer and Register of Deeds 5th To Chose a Representative 6th To Chose all other Town officers yth To hear all town accounts 8th To see how much money the Town will raise to pay town charges the present Year. |
