Foght, H. W., Rural Denmark and its Schools, New York and Toronto, The Macmillan Co., 1915, 355 PP.

Part I. of this book deals with the recent Danish agricultural rehabilitation, and Part II. with the work of the rural schools in the national reorganisation. The latter includes the elementary schools, the local agricultural schools, and the folk high schools together with some suggestions for adapting the latter schools to American conditions.

Haggard, H. Rider, Rural Denmark and its Lessons, London, 1911, 335 PP.

While this work primarily treats of the agricultural reorganisation in Denmark, some space is devoted to the elementary and folk high schools.
