pay the interest on such debentures and expenses connected therewith and also such sum or sums as the Council, by resolution, shall determine, for the purpose of providing a sinking fund for such debentures, the same not to be in any case less than two per cent. of the amount borrowed; and such sums for interest, sinking fund and expenses shall be rated and collected in the same manner and with like remedies as other rates and taxes in said Town are rated and collected; and such sinking fund, as and when collected, shall be annually set apart and deposited under and in accordance with the provisions of the "Municipal Debentures Act" as and for such sinking fund, and such fund and interest thereon shall be used for the payment of such debentures, and for no other purpose.

11. Inasmuch as the ratepayers of the Town of Wolfville have, in manner as by law provided, already approved of and authorized the borrowing of the said several sums of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) and five thousand dollars ($5,000), it shall not be necessary to convene any additional meeting of the ratepayers as a condition precedent to the borrowing of the said moneys or any part thereof, or the issuing of said debentures or of doing any matter or thing by this Act authorized.

CHAPTER 89.

An Act to Authorize the Town of Wolfville to Borrow

Money.

(Passed the 13th day of April, A. D., 1922).

Be it enacted by the Governor, Council, and Assembly, as follows:

1. The Town of Wolfville is authorized to borrow or raise by way of loan on the credit of the Town the sum of twenty-two thousand dollars for the purpose of completing payment of the new public school in said Town.

2. Where any money is borrowed or raised by the issue and sale of debentures of the Town under this Act and the Municipal Debentures Act, 1914, as amended, the Council of the Town shall provide for a sinking fund with respect to such debentures; provided the amount to be paid annually into the sinking fund shall not be less than two per centum of the aggregate amount of the said debentures and shall not be less than the Council deems sufficient to provide for the payment of the debentures when the same are payable, and the first payment into such sinking fund to be made within one year from the date of the debentures.

3. Every sum required for,

shall be held to be sums required for the ordinary lawful purposes of the Town and shall be raised, levied and collected in the same manner and in all respects as other sums required for the ordinary lawful purposes of the Town are raised, levied and collected.

CHAPTER 90.

An Act to Authorize the Municipality of the County of
Annapolis to Borrow Money for the Purpose of
Remodelling the Court House at Annapolis
Royal.

Be it enacted by the Governor, Council, and Assembly, as follows:

CHAPTER 91.

An Act to Sub-divide Polling District No. 17, in the
Municipality of Antigonish County.

(Passed the 29th day of April, A. D., 1922).

Be it enacted by the Governor, Council, and Assembly, as follows:

1. From and after the passing of this Act, the District dividPolling District No. 17 (Upper South River), in the divisions. Municipality of Antigonish County, is hereby subdivided into two polling divisions, which shall be called respectively, 17A (Springfield) and 17 (Upper South River), both of which shall be deemed separate polling districts for municipal and local election purposes.

2. The boundaries of the new polling division 17A Boundaries. (Springfield) shall be as follows: Beginning at the south western corner of lands of Dan. McDougall at the division line between the South River lands and the Springfield lands; thence running in a northerly direction along said division line to the north east corner of lands of John McGillivray; thence running westerly, along the line between said John McGillivray's lands and lands of James McPherson, to the southwest corner of lands of Leo Sullivan; thence northerly along the line between lands of Leo Sullivan and Alex. McPhee to the northwest corner of Leo Sullivan's lands; thence running in a direct course to the northeast corner of lands of John McFarlane; thence running easterly along the line of John McFarlane's lands till it strikes the Springfield road, at or near the southeast corner of Dan Cameron's lands; thence running along the Springfield road in a northeasterly direction to lands of the late Allan Cameron; thence running along the northeastern line of said Allan Cameron's lands to the northeast corner of lands of John McIsaac; thence along the eastern line of John McIsaac's lands to what is, or was, Angus McGillivray's northeastern line; thence running along said last mentioned line in a northerly direction to the northern boundary of what was the lands of John
