DEAR SIR: In compliance with the statutes of the State, I submit herewith the report of this department from the date of December 15, 1904, and ending December 15, 1906. During the period named the receipts from fees and other sources of this office have been as follows: CORPORATION DEPARTMENT. The statement of the receipts of this department during the last two years shows that the work is steadily increasing and the revenues growing greater. Two years ago the Secretary of State in his report recommended an increase in the salary of the corporation clerk to one hundred and twenty-five dollars a month, and an additional clerk at a salary of one hundred dollars per month, who should be a competent type |
