for a Commity to sal said land: and a Jeorned ye meting to ye: 15 Day of May Instant Meeting to gather one ye 15 Day of may 1732 Mr Aaron Bennit Moderator for this present meting it was voted that Sam" Bear and John Edwards should have Liberty to throw in ther Rite and Intrest of ye Berbry marsh in to the Grate paster for Eighteen pence profet for every Acor for this year 1732 in parstoring any Creater at ye same meting it was voted by the propritors then presant to sal Ram Island so Called to ye hyest bider. voted Benja Allen Sam" Lee Jun' and Ezeckell Goodell for a Commity to sal said Island at ye same meting it was voted that all Nescary Charges of the sevearl Commitys in Renewing and sateling of Bounds saling of sum parasels of Common land in the weste part of ye town and Charges Relating to ye Grate paster in Every Artickel Should be paid and a lowed to the Commity from the sixteenth Day October 1730 to the fifteenth Day of may 1732

[119] Wheras ther was a Commite Chosen to lett out little Crow Iland at Kittle Cove to Samuell Morgan for five year for twenty five shilling per year £6= 5=0 and s'd morgan paid in the mony to the Commite on the Eleventh Day of Decer 1738 and then leveing the mony with John ffoster the propritors Clark to Defray Charges as folloth July 11th 1739 then paid to John Hill Inholder for the Commite Charge at several times 2=0=0 Oct. 1-1730= the propritors of Manchester are Indated to Jabez Dodge the former Clark for his servise as Doth apear: Delevered to Recd to the sum of £1=6=6 the propritors of manchesters Common and undivided land are Indated to me John ffoster ther Clark from the sixth of november: 1730 to July 11: 1739: for worning of Metting at tending Righting, Recording on Book £2-16-0 to Riting the Lease to Sam Morgan of Crow Iland and Expence Sept: 20: 1731

Aaron Bennit was Chosen Moderator for that present meting 1ly it was voted unanomasly by all the propritors then present that the Inhabitance of town ship of Manchester shall be co equel sharses with us the old propritors in that part of Common land if any be found laying on

[121] Att a Commoners or a pritors metting legailely worned and mette To gather one mondday the sixte of march Ano 1753 11y Voted Jonathan Herrick to be moderater for that presente Metting: 21y Voted by us the Commoners of the Town of Manchester to recuive from the Town of manchester all the lands that the Commoners gavie to the Town of manchester att a Commoners metting on Tusday the twenty ninth of March An° 1743 3ly Voted that Col. Benja maston Mr John Foster Capt John Lee Mr Thomas lee: Capt Sam" lee Sam" Allin the Second and Dea" Jonathan Herrick to be a Committee fully authorized and impowred to manage and settle the Controversy Betwen us and the parsons that have entreed upon parte of this Township and holds the Commons or pritors out of ye same also to manage settle or Compound the matter with them or acquit or set-hereby giveing our said Comtee full power lawfull Athority to use any or all proper law full means what so ever for affecting the same or obtaning the possition of the land snached from us by the Commoners of Ipswich or any persen or persons what so ever and if need be in order theirto to appear in our name and behalf before any Courte legislative or Executive to petision Claime Demaind or sue for the Recovery of our Right in the land before menchend and to prosecute the same to final Final Judment and Execution Hereby giveing to our said Comitie power and authority of making an attorny or attorny's under them with Ferther power of substitution and to prosecut and mange the affair above menched in all Respects in as full and ample a maner as the Commeners or perpriters Could in any wise Do by any act or vote of thier one

[122] 4ly wherfore voted that the propritors of the Common lands in manchester will Duly and truly Execute to the Town of manchester an atentick Deed or Deeds of the lands above mentiched when ever they shall be Recovered in possion of the propritors of the Common land in manchester afore said John ffoster Thomas lee and Jonathan Herrick ware a Committe Chosen to give good law full Deed or Deeds of the lands above mentichened when soever the land shall be Recovered and in possesion of the Commoners of Manchester John ffoster Clerk Att a proprietors Meeting, in manchester Leagally warned & met to gether on thursday the tenth Day of March 1763 Deacon.

Thomas Lee John Tewxbury ware Chosen a Commitee to Examin the Claims of the proprietors of the undivided Common Lands in manchester-Deacon Jonathan Herrick Lieut. Thomas Lee Stephen Allen Andrew Woodberry and John Tewxbury ware Chosen a Commitee to Measure the undivded Common Land & to Return a plan of the same to ye proprietors the Moderater was Pleased to ajoirn said meeting to the twenty fifth Day of May 1763 at Eight O Clock in the Morning.

[123] At a proprietors meeting on the 25 Day of May 1763 mett on an Journment was voted as follows (viz) 1st Voted and agreed to add 28 Rights to the old Commoners which with the New Commoners make 100 Rights 2ly Voted to Divide said Comon Land into ten Divisions 3ly. Voted and Choosen for a Commite to Divide said Common Land into the Division Deacon Jonathan Herrick Deacon John Allen Mss. Andrew Woodberry Daniel Edwards & John Tewxbury. 4ly Voted to ajourn the meeting to the Last monday of october in 1763 at Eight O'Clock in ye morning We the subscribers being Chosen a Commetee at a proprietors Meeting in manchester on the 25 Day of may 1763 to Divide all the Common Land in said manchester into ten Equil Divisions for Quantity & Quality which we had done in the following Manner. [128] At a Proprietors Meeting in manchester on the fifth Day of December 1763 on an ajournment was voted as followeth (viz) to Ajourn the Meeting to the Second Monday of February 1764 at 12 o'clock a noon

At a proprietors Meeting in Manchester Mett to gether on an ajournment on Monday the 13 Day of Feb. 1764. 1 Voted and Cosen Deacon Jonathan Herrick Andrew Woodberry & John Tewxbury for a Commitee to Tax Each Common Right the proportionable part of the sum of three pound Eleven shillings & foure pence Lawful money 2ly Voted John Tewxbury to be a Collecttors to Collect such sum or sums as shall be Laid upon Each Common Rite. 3ly Voted that the Committee formerly Chosen to Receive the Claims shall still be a Commitee to Receive them till all the Right be Claimed and to Enter them in the proprietors Book 4ly Voted to Ajourn the Meeting to the first Monday of Frebruary

January 1766 at two O'Clock after Noon Att a Meeting of the Proprietors of the Common Lands in Manchester Legaly Warned & met together on Tuesday the twenty Eight day of Frebruary 1769 1ly Voted Ensign Andrew Woodbury Moderater 2ly Voted unanimously that the Division of the Common Lands in Manchester made in the Year 1763 shall be Confirmed and stand as it was then Divided 3ly Voted that the Proprietors that had no Right in Kittle Cove pond or thatch Lotts shall have Little Crow Island in Lieu thereof, 4ly Voted to the Town of said Manchester a way from the North East Corner of the Lot belonging to the Heirs of Thomas Lee Ju" Dec.d to the West Division Lotts
