There is no written lease or contract under which our company operates this spur, but only a general understanding that we perform the transportation service and maintain the track in return for which we receive the revenues. The Boston and Maine R. R. lessees of the Connecticut & Passumpsic Rivers R. R. Co., collect this rental, from which is paid the interest on the bonds of Newport & Richford R. R.
