BASIS. A union on perfectly equal terms between those who use temperately and those who abstain entirely from intoxicating liquors as beverages.
AIMS. To establish a branch society in every diocese, and a juvenile and adult temperanee society in every parish.
OBJECTS. I. The promotion of temperance. II. The rescue of the intemperate. III. The removal of the causes which lead to intemperance.
