To the galley proof, when sent to the author, a slip ill be attached giving rates and containing a blank for order. To those sending their order this slip, with the return of the proof to the editor 100 reprints with covers will be furnished ithout charge. Additional reprints without covers will be furnished at approximately the tes given in the table below, but the order must be made with the return of proof in advance publication. The actual cost of reprints may vary from the figures given, and will depend on the amount of work in re-making the pages into forms, press work, paper, binding, etc. hese rates apply only to plain text with line engravings. Papers containing half-tone enavings, folded maps or elaborate plates will be more expensive. The price of additional covers, of same style of type and paper as the cover of the rral with simple title printed thereon is for the first fifty, $1.00; for each additional huned, $1.00.
