The Secretary:

This report has been audited and approved by a subcommittee of the Executive Committee, as appears by the report of the Secretary of that committee already filed.

The President:

Unless objection is made, the report will be received and printed in the minutes. There being none, it is so ordered.

The President:

Mr. Ward, have you any report?

S. L. H. Ward, of New York:

We have no other names to report at present.

The President:

We have already elected the members proposed. The next business is the election of officers. Is the Committee on Nominations prepared to report?

The Secretary:

Mr. President, Mr. Simons, the Secretary of this committee, is engaged before the Court of Appeals this afternoon, and for that reason is unable to attend this meeting. He has handed me his report; it has been printed and is now in the hands of the members present. I desire to say, however, that I have been notified that two gentlemen who have been nominated for office are unable to serve in the positions named. One is Mr. Edmund Wetmore, who was nominated for Vice-President of the First District, and Charles W. Dayton's name has been submitted in his place. Also, Mr. Elbridge T. Gerry is unable to act as a member of the Committee on Grievances for the First District, and the committee has presented the name of Rudolf Dulon in his stead. The report of the committee is as follows:

The committee appointed by the President to nominate officers for the ensuing year held a meeting in the city of New York, on January 8, 1900, and unanimously agreed upon the following nominations, and respectfully urge their election:
