Trumbull, as clerk and proof reader,) for expenses and services rendered, in superintending the publication of the revised Statutes; also a further order on the Treasurer of this State, in favor of Loren P. Waldo, for the sum of five hundred dollars, for his expenses and services in superintending the publication of the revised Statutes; and a further order on said Treasurer, in favor of Francis Fellowes, for the sum of six hundred dollars, for his services and expenses in superintending the publication of the revised Statutes.

WILLIAM CONNER JR., FOR FIRST COMPANY GOVERNOR'S FOOT

GUARDS.

Resolved by this Assembly, That the Comptroller of Public Accounts be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to draw an order on the Treasurer of this state, in favor of William Conner, Jr., major commandant of the first company of Governor's Foot Guards, for the sum of seventysix dollars, fifty cents, being at the rate of one dollar and fifty-cents for each member of said company who performed military duty therein on the last election day; also, an order for the further sum of twenty-five dollars as rent for their armory during the past year, ending first day of April, 1849.

NATHAN FISH.

Resolved, That the Comptroller of Public Accounts be directed to draw an order on the Treasurer of this State, in favor of Nathan Fish, for the sum of fifteen dollars, for expenses incurred in pursuit of a criminal.

ANDREW KELLY.

Resolved by this Assembly, That the Comptroller of Public Accounts be directed to draw an order on the Treasurer of this State, in favor of Andrew Kelly, for the sum of one hundred thirty dollars, as remuneration for expense incurred in consequence of wounds received from a convict in State Prison.

Resolved, That the Comptroller be directed to draw an order on the Treasurer in favor of George N. Loomis, for the sum of fifteen dollars for expenses in defending his seat in this House.

1 EPHRAIM PIERSON, FOR THE TOWN OF HADDAM.

Resolved, That the Comptroller draw an order on the Treasurer, in favor of Ephraim Pierson, for the use and benefit of the town of Haddam, for the sum of thirty-five dollars, seventy cents, being the amount of a bill of costs taxed in a prosecution against David Bailey and William Gladwin, by the county court for Middlesex county, October term, 1846, and repaid to the state treasury by the clerk of said county, said town of Haddam having paid said bill of costs.

THEODORE B. ROGERS.

Resolved, That the Comptroller of Public Accounts be, and hereby is directed to draw an order on the Treasurer for the sum of one hundred and eleven dollars and fortyfour cents, in favor of Theodore B. Rogers, in payment for his services as Messenger to his His Excellency the Governor, during the present session of the Legislature.

THIRD SCHOOL DISTRICT, IN CHAPLIN SCHOOL SOCIETY.

Upon the petition of Isaac Lawton and others, inhabitants of the Third School District in Chaplin School Society :Resolved by this Assembly, That the Comptroller be requested to draw an order on the Treasurer of this State, for four dollars and fifty cents, in favor of George Ashley Esq., for the use of said Third School District in Chaplin School Society.

MILL DISTRICT, IN HARTLAND SECOND SCHOOL SOCIETY. Whereas, The number of ten children in Mill District, in the Second School Society of Hartland, duly enumerated and returned to the committee of said society, in August, 1847, was, by the mistake of said committee, omitted to be returned to the Comptroller of Public Accounts; by reason whereof said Mill District has not received their proportion of the school fund dividends for that year :therefore,

Resolved by this Assembly, That the Comptroller of Public Accounts be authorized and directed to draw an order

on the Treasurer in favor of Lester Cowdrey, for the sum of fifteen dollars for the use and benefit of said Mill Dis

trict.

D. M. BUELL, FOR USE OF CENTRE SCHOOL DISTRICT, IN COVENTRY FIRST SOCIETY.

Resolved, That the Comptroller of Public Accounts be, and he hereby is authorized and required to draw an order on the Treasurer of this State, in favor of D. M. Buell, for the use of the Centre School District, in Coventry First School Society, for the sum of ten dollars and fifty cents, additional school money.

FARMS SCHOOL DISTRICT, IN SIMSBURY.

Resolved, That the Comptroller of Public Accounts be, and he is hereby requested to draw an order on the Treasurer of this State, in favor of the Farms School District, in the School Society of Simsbury, for the sum of twentyone dollars, additional school money, due said Farms School District, on the enumeration and return made of persons between the ages of four and sixteen years, residing in and belonging to said district on the first Monday of August, 1844.

FRANCIS CLARK, COMMITTEE OF N. WEST SCHOOL DISTRICT, IN HARTLAND FIRST SOCIETY.

Resolved by this Assembly, That the Comptroller of Public Accounts be required to draw an order on the Treasurer of this State, for the sum of eighteen dollars, in favor of Fran

cis Clark, committee of North West School District in First School Society in Hartland, being amount of dividend of school money on twelve persons enumerated in said district, August, 1848.

EDWIN STEARNS.

HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES,

Resolved, That the Comptroller of Public Accounts be, and he is hereby directed to draw an order on the Treasurer in favor of Edwin Stearns, for the sum of fifty dollars, being the amount of expenses incurred in defending his right to a seat herein as a representative of said town of Middletown.

LEVERETT W. WESSELLS.

Resolved, That the Comptroller of Public Accounts be directed to draw an order on the Treasurer, in favor of Leverett W. Wessells, for the sum of fifteen dollars, for expenses incurred in the unsuccessful pursuit of the perpetrators of a murder committed the past winter in the town of Litchfield.
