A bill to authorize the directors of the Indiana State Prison, at Jeffersonville, to purchase tools, stock and materials, and to employ the convicts for and on account of the State of Indiana, making appropriations therefor, and making appropriation for the current expenses of the year 1861, and declaring when the same shall take effect.

A bill supplemental to an act entitled "an act to provide for a general system of Common Schools, the officers thereof, and their respective powers and duties and matters properly connected therewith, and for the establishment and regulation of Township Libraries, and to repeal all laws inconsistent therewith," approved March 11th, 1861.

A bill to amend the four hundred and twentieth section of an act entitled "an act to revise, simplify and abridge the rules, practice and pleadings and forms in civil cases in the Courts of this State, to abolish distinct forms of action at law, and to provide for the administration of justice in a uniform mode of pleadings and practice, without distinction between law and equity," approved June 18, 1852.

Was read a second time.

A bill to amend the 14th section of an act entitled "an act to fix the times of holding the Common Pleas Courts in the several counties of this State, the duration of the terms thereof, and making all process from the present Common Pleas Courts returnable to such terms, and declaring when this act shall take effect, and repealing all laws inconsistent therewith," approved March 5, 1859.
