nales, y no creeis: ¿cómo creereis, si os dijere cosas celestiales?

13 Y nadie subió al cielo, sino el que descendió del cielo, es á saber, el Hijo del hombre, que está en el cielo.

14 Y como Moyses levantó la serpiente en el desierto, así es necesario que el Hijo del hombre sea levantado;

15 Para que todo aquel que en él creyere, no se pierda, mas tenga vida eterna.

16 Porque de tal manera amó Dios al mundo, que haya dado á su Hijo unigénito; para que todo aquel que en él creyere, no se pierda, mas tenga vida eterna. 17 Porque no envió Dios á su Hijo al mundo, para que condene al mundo; sino para que el mundo sea salvo por él.

18 El que en él cree, no es condenado; mas el que no cree, ya es condenado; porque no creyó en el nombre del unigénito Hijo de Dios.

19 Y esta es la condenacion, que la luz vino al mundo, y los hombres amaron mas las tinieblas que la luz; porque sus obras eran malas.

20 Porque todo aquel que hace lo malo, aborrece la luz, y no viene á la luz, porque sus obras no sean redargüidas.

21 Mas el que obra verdad, viene á la luz, para que sus obras sean hechas manifiestas, porque son hechas en Dios.

22 Pasado esto, vino Jesus y sus discípulos á una tierra de Judea; y estaba allí con ellos, y bautizaba.

23 Y bautizaba tambien Juan en Enon junto á Salim, porque habia allí muchas aguas; y venian, y eran bautizados.

24 Porque aun Juan no habia sido puesto en la cárcel.

13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 ¶ He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. 22 T After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized. 23 And John also was baptizing in Enon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.

24 For John was not yet cast into prison.

26 Y vinieron á Juan, y le dijeron: Rabbi, el que estaba contigo de la otra parte del Jordan, del cual tú diste testimonio, he aquí, bautiza, y todos vienen á él.

27 Respondió Juan, y dijo: No puede el hombre recibir algo si no le fuere dado del cielo.

28 Vosotros mismos me sois testigos que dije: Yo no soy el Cristo; mas soy enviado delante de él.

26 And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth. and all men come to him. 27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

28 Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.

13 Respondió Jesus, y le dijo: Cualquiera que bebiere de esta agua, volverá á tener sed;

2 (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,) 3 He left Judea, and departed again into Galilee.

4 And he must needs go through Samaria.

5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.

7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.

8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)

9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.

10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?

12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? 13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again :

14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst but the

15 La muger le dice: Señor, dáme esta agua, para que yo no tenga sed, ni venga acá á sacarla.

16 Jesus le dice: Vé, llama á tu marido, y ven acá.

17 Respondió la muger, y le dijo: No tengo marido. Dicele Jesus: Bien has dicho: No tengo marido;

18 Porque cinco maridos has tenido; y el que ahora tienes, no es tu marido: esto has dicho con verdad.

19 Dícele la muger: Señor, paréceme que tú eres profeta.

20 Nuestros padres adoraron en este monte, y vosotros decis, que en Jerusalem es el lugar donde es menester adorar.

15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that Í thirst not, neither come hither to draw.

18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.

19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour com

22 Vosotros adorais lo que no sabeis: nosotros adoramos lo que sabemos; porque la salvacion de los Judios es.

23 Mas la hora viene, y ahora es, cuando los verdaderos adoradores adorarán al padre en espíritu y en verdad; porque tambien el Padre tales busca que le adoren.

this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship; for salvation is of the Jews.

23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

ninguno le dijo: ¿Qué preguntas, ó, qué hablas con ella?

28 Entonces la muger dejó su cántaro, y fué á la ciudad, y dijo á los hombres :

29 Venid, ved un hombre que me ha dicho todo cuanto he hecho: si es quizá el Cristo? 30 Entonces salieron de la ciudad, y vinieron á él.

31 Entre tanto los discípulos le rogaban, diciendo: Rabbi,

come.

32 Y él les dijo: Yo tengo una comida que comer, que vosotros no sabeis.

33 Entonces los discípulos decian el uno al otro: Le ha traido alguien de comer?

34 Díceles Jesus: Mi comida es, que yo haga la voluntad del que me envió, y que acabe su obra.

no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?

28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, 29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? 30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.

31 ¶ In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.

32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know

not of.

33 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him aught to eat?

34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

36 Y el que siega recibe salario, y allega fruto para vida eterna; para que el que siembra tambien goce, y el que siega.

37 Porque en esto es el dicho verdadero: Que uno es el que siembra, y otro es el que siega. 38 Yo os he enviado á segar lo que vosotros no labrasteis: otros labraron, y vosotros habeis entrado en sus labores.

39 Y muchos de los Samaritanos de aquella ciudad creyeron en él por la palabra de la muger, que daba testimonio, diciendo. Me dijo todo cuanto he hecho.

40 Mas viniendo los Samaritanos á él, le rogaron que se quedase allí; y se quedó allí dos dias.

41 Y creyeron muchos mas por la palabra de él.

harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.

37 And herein is that saying truc, One soweth, and another reapeth.

38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.

39 ¶ And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.

40 So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.

41 And many more believed because of his own word;
