Sec. 5. Sec. 9. Be it further enacted, That if any Judges, jus. judge, justice, coroner, constable, jailor or other tices, &c.

than is or shall be allowed by the laws of this state, every person so offending shall, upon conviction thereof. be fined in a sum not exceeding two hundred dollars, or imprisoned not exceeding six months, or both, at the discretion of the court.

Sec. 10. Be it further enacted, That if any Defrauding person or persons, by any false pretence or prehow punish tences, shall obtain from any other person or .

persons, any money, goods, merchandise or effects whatever, with intent to cheat and de. fraud such person or persons of the same, or shall fraudulently make and transfer any bond, bill, deed of salc, gists, grants or other conveyances, to defeat creditors of their just demands, such person or persons so offending shall, upony conviction thereof, be fined in a sum not exceeding five hundred dollars, or be imprison.

Sec. 12. Be it further enacted, That if any officers en's judge, justice of the peace, clerk of any court, couraging sheriff, constable, attorney or counsellor at law, law suits, shall encourage, excite and stir up any suit, quarrels.&c.

Sec. 16. Be it further enacted, That if any Breaking or person shall, wilfully and maliciously alter, de. destroying

Sec. 17. Be it further enacted, That if any Altering marks or
